Important to realtors but even more so to us Christians! We need to be aware of our spiritual location to survive this crazy world we live in. We have been relocated from this dark world to the Kingdom Of God! As such we need to show our gratitude by living by His ways and His rules. When faced with the decision of following the world's ways and following our Lord's ways we must choose to follow Him. This world holds nothing for us, His world holds everything!!

God bless!

I have to admit that I tend to jump into the deep end without my swimmies, thinking I can fix things and do things on my own, without consulting the Lord, or seeking His will in a situation.  This has led to some inpleasant learning experiences for me.

I need to seek the Lord before acting on my impulse to fix things.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi all, it's a beautiful fall day here. Cool and crisp but not too cold and sun shining on the turning leaves, life is good!
Are we doing things with God's authority or just willy nilly our way. God gives us authority to do certain things in life. Such as He allows us to share being saved with others but we aren't authorized to save them only He can do that. When we do things He has authorized us to do we usually do a much better job than if we take something on ourselves because we "know" He is watching us. Being human we usually tend to take the short cut or do a half hearted job unless we know God is watching closely and asked us to do this project. So just look at everything we do as authorized by God so we will give it our all not just a half job!

God bless!

 Hi Karen,
This message reminds me of an incident early in my divorce days.  In AA, we encourage one another to get phone numbers of others in the program, women with women, men with men, and call if the urge to drink comes up.  Well, I was going through the usual emotional rollercoaster of divorce early in recovery, and made about 10 phone calls.  I got voice mails, and husbands, but no women from AA on the phone.  I was so discouraged, till I heard God say to me, "You haven't tried Me."  I still have my first instinct to call someone, or act out in self-defeating, unhealthy ways, but I am getting better at calling on the Lord in times of need.

I would appreciate prayers, coz, I am having terrible sinus allergy stuff, with a low grade fever to boot.  I am either hot, or cold.  I can't find a happy medium.

Talk to you soon.

Hugs,
Trish

Well finally feeling much better, I think it was a combo of weather change and allergies, so looks like I'll survive!
When you have problems who is the first one you turn to for relief? If you are like me, my first response is to try to fix things myself. Then I might try the internet and when I'm at the end of my rope I remember God. Now if I'd do that in reverse my situations would be resolved much sooner. Not to mention if it is a matter of the heart there's not really much I or the internet can do. Only God can heal our hearts and the pain in them. So when your heart is in pain skip the earthly ways of comfort and turn to our God who can truely heal the pain.

God bless!

Hooray always great to have another little one around! My great grand daughter is due in just a few weeks, I can hardly wait! It'll be my 5th I think, hard to keep up with these kids anymore.
Nothin worse than running to the bathroom every few minutes, hope it slacks off soon! Take care!

My daughter told me she is pregnant with baby #3.  She is due in May.

I need prayer because I took a medication that has me peeing every 20 minutes.  Please pray it gets out of my system ASAP.

Hugs,
Trish

 Hi Karen,
Sorry you are suffering there.  I hate when my lungs give me problems because I get paranoid that I might have another clot, like in October.

I am having another hammertoe surgery on October 11th.  Would appreciate your prayers for that, as my last surgery hurt like nothing I have ever experienced before.  I am getting my crutches up from the basement for this one.  My mom will come and help me, because I am not able to get my meals with crutches.

Take care of yourself.

Hugs

I totally agree some folks do need to address the past to live the present and future. I'm so thankful to have had awesome parents and family in general. I was able to leave the past there because there just wasn't anything to drag along with me but I understand that lots have to face that first. Thanks for pointing that out because until the past is dealt with, when needed, one is stuck and unable to move forward.
