I was thinking a out you and your lady when I was writing this. You must be a very patient person cause I think I'd run and hide after a couple of calls. You ate doing a wonderful thing tho for her and her family and one day maybe God will be able to use her as He has you, stay strong hun.
Oh I pray you won't need the pain meds very long trust in your growth and strength then ask God for an extra helping, He's gotten you through so far and He will be there for you then too! When you feel panicky pet Uttley I just read where pets take away 40% or so of our anxiety and they're cute too!

Topic: Just a little love
The Beatles sang a song "All You Need Is Love" while it may not be all we need it does help. Just to know someone is praying for you or showing they care about your situation can mean everything. I know I've been in the hospital so much the last several years that I should have a wing named after me, but I also knew everytime that my church and friends were praying for me. They didn't have to even visit, just knowing they had me in their thoughts made a world of difference. Also with every visit nurses always commented on what a great attitude I had and I always pointed out that I have the best "physician" ever in God and that all my church folks were praying so there was nothing to worry about. I also got great service from them, being nice also helps you out. So take a look around and see if someone needs a little love in your life!

God bless!

Pam I am so sorry you are going thru this and I'm glad you are seeing another doctor,I was going to suggest that. We all know smoking isn't good for us (I'm an ex-smoker so won't lecture) but withholding treatment because you are smoking isn't going to help anything. I can't imagine not being able to keep solid food down.

Father I ask you to intervene on Pam's behalf, get her to a doctor who will listen to her needs and adress them in an active way. Help her also to have the strength to quit smoking, we all know this is difficult but we will be praying for her to have strength. Please jus****ch over her and guide her to a healthier life and restore her health. We ask this in your precious Son's name, Amen!

Please put me in your prayers.  I hadgastric bypass with no banding  6 yrs ago the first 4 were great I went from 287 to 150 and siz 24 to size 12 I felt great.  Then I got a kink 2 weeks later they did surgery again on a hernia which developed.  A little less than a year later I had severe pain and my Dr. thought it was another hernia.....his question to me was why did I not tell him I had an ulcer....how the hck was I to know....Since then I had endocopies about every 6 months with no change....The endocopic doctor says it is a non healing ulcer and need surgical correction.  During all the stress I started back smoking which I know is not helping; am have actually cut back to 2 a day one with my coffee in the morning....and one after I throw up my supper...I throw up all the time and am in pain. My doctor is obstinate because I had been smoking.  I am quitting Im n chatix.  My doctor is just plain mean; he tells me he will do a reversal///he does not explain why a rvrsal would be bnficial....he just says that what he would do.  I have an appt  with another doctor Thursday I want xplanation of what is needed.  I understand how to diet and if a reversal is needed I wouldnt mind gaining up to a size 10 I'm at a size 2 now.   Please pray that a decision made is God's wlll.  I am throwing up al my food if it wasn't for protien shakes I proably would be with the Lord.  If you have any advise please reply.   Bless and Keep You...Pam

 Hi Karen,
I am currently mentoring a woman my age who has had a horrific drug and alcohol problem.  She has three teenage daughters and spent 13 years of their life on the streets, prostituting herself for drugs.  She now has hepatitis C and epilepsy.  Her husband and daughters hate her.  She is a baby Christian who barely knows scripture.  In addition to her addictions, she has some mental health issues, and is extremely needy.  There are some days when she calls me 8 times, sometimes whining about how her family hates her.  I would appreciate prayer for wisdom and discernment on my part, and that her faith would be strengthened.

I would also appreciate prayer for my toes.  I had a bad side effect to the Ultram I was given for pain.  Ultram is not as addictive as other pain meds.  So, I asked my doctor to give me Vicodin instead.  I am already having panic attacks about being hooked because of my addiction to pain meds.

Hugs,
Trish

Here we are with another brand shiny new week, hope yours is awesome. It's a bit of a sad week for me as this last weekend was my parents birthdays(they were 2 days apart) and even tho they've both been gone for several years I think of them now. Even tho they are no longer here I live my life for the most part the way they raised me to. This is also alot like when we are baby Christians we learn from our elder Christians. Now as an elder myself I try to pass my knowledge along to those who are newer in the Lord. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a church to raise a Christian. If we don't step up to share our experiences the new ones don't learn from us. It is nearly impossible for a baby Christian to just accept the Lord and then go study on their own. They will most likely flounder and fade away back to their previous life. I feel very blessed that my grand daughter has become a Christian and is really working at changing her life. She has gotten rid of the big glaring things that were in her life now she is on to the much harder more invisible things in life. She's working on things like responsibility, morals and adjusting attitudes, those things that are built in but not the right way to handle things. A few of her friends have accepted Christ but never made a point to get to church so they are still babies, where she is growing in her walk. So maybe each of us can find someone to mentor or just be ther for them to help them grow in their walk. That should be enough of a challenge for most of us. Have a super week!

God bless!

That wasn't a babble that was a beautiful testimony!! I think folks like us who came to the Lord the hard way are somewhat more appreciative because we've seen the ugliness life can have, where folks who are raised in the church sometimes have never seen the down side of life!

Yep I spend my healing time in bed too for the same reason, the critters want to be next to me. Plus then I can spread all my projects out all over the bed.

Oh my goodness we are so much alike!! I have my tv on all the time too. Half the time I couldn't tell you what was on, like you it's mostly for noise. Bad habit I developed when hubby was still working. We live way out in the country and I was always here by myself all day so just got in the habit of having it on all the time. Even leave it on when we leave so the critters think there is someone there!
