I saw my doctor about my rash today, and he says it's shingles. He prescribed anti-virals, and told me not to go near people who have not had chicken pox, or people whose immune systems are compromised, like chemo patients. So far, it's just a small, painful rash on my arm. There's a chance it could spread. Hopefully, the anti-virals will help keep it from spreading too much. In addition to the painful rash, I have swollen glands, and a low grade fever, which makes me feel pretty lousy in general.
So, I called my Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist, and have to reschedule my sinus surgery to June 25th. I'm more upset about that, than the discomfort I am experiencing with the shingles.
So, as I recuperate from the shingles, how can I pray for you?

Hi Everybody,
I would appreciate prayer once more. I have developed a strange rash on the back of my arm. I hope to see the doctor later today. There are so many illnesses related to rashes and skin, I am concerned.
My surgery is on Monday. Please pray they give me a time that fits with my two rides. I can't get one person to take me both ways. My sis-in-law will drop me off before she goes to work, and a friend from church will pick me up. Problem is, this friend has to drive her two older kids to school, and pick them up at the end of the day. I'm hoping the timing works with both of their schedules.

Amen! I love them too, don't always get there as often as I'd like because of health issues but it always recharges my spiritual battery when I do. Praise the Lord!

I love my church. The worship is beautiful and the people are the most loving people I have ever met. Unfortunately, I am still sick and can't get to worship this week. My pastor's sermons are available on iTunes, so I will download them and listen.

I love Sundays!! It's a great time of Christian fellowship at church. It's wonderful to live in a country where we are free to worship openly, read our Bible, and pray as often as we like! Thank you Jesus! I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord! GO to the church of your choice...but GO! You will be blessed!

Awwww sweetie family dynamics can be so painful and understanding the why doesn't make it any easier to get thru. I wish you could have had a more caring mom, every child should be loved and appreciated.
I'll be praying extra hard for you this week, it's hard enough when you feel like crap then have some one dump on you to boot. I pray you'll find comfort and healing in the Lord and that you will be all ready for your surgery and finally some relief! God bless!!!!
