Oh you sound just like me! It never fails every time we have a family get together I forget the camera, I swear I need to have it surgically attatched to me! Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned, enjoy.

Good Morning Karen,
I am upset with myself because I bought a video camera for my trip here, and ended up leaving both of my cameras at home. Argh. Today is my granddaughter's dance recital dress rehearsal. She has the cutest costume, and she has to wear makeup for it. She also has her pictures tonight. Then, we are going out for dinner for Mothers Day. Sunday is just an insane day to go out to eat. My brother, when he was alive, was a restaurant manager, and Mothers Day is the #1 eating out day of the year.
Please continue to pray. Lincoln still has the diarrhea something fierce. Poor thing. He is keeping food down, which is a praise, but he keeps clinging to his parents. I am making him a blankie for carrying around, because he keeps dragging all of the soft baby blankets around to suck his thumb with.
I took my granddaughter to a craft store yesterday and we bought a bird house to paint and decorate. We also got some yarn for me to make her an afghan in colors she picked out. She picked out read, hot pink, baby pink, and white.

Boy I'm late today! Went to the pulmonary doc today cause it seemed like my lungs have gotten worse. Well nope he said they are in better shape than my last visit 2 yrs ago. While that is good it doesn't explain why I have so much trouble breathing when I walk, prolly that old you need to lose weight silliness. So how's your week going, share with us. God bless! Karen

Good Thursday Morning, Karen and Fellow Sisters and Brothers,
I made it to Michigan safely, stopping in Pittsburgh to see my younger son, my Baby Boy, Sean. Praise the Lord, he took a look at my computer and found some damage that I knew nothing about, but it had been shorting out and he repaired it for me and saved me a ton of money in the process. Praise the Lord I got a really nice hotel deal on Priceline, a Doubletree hotel for $65 a night while I was there. Praise the Lord, I was about 10 minutes behind a serious accident on the Ohio Turnpike.
My grandchildren need prayer again. They are trading stomach bugs. When I got here, Isabel was on the BRAT diet for diarrhea, and while here, she got better, and Lincoln, 21 months old, got it and also vomiting. Please pray they both get better. Isabel has her dance recital this weekend.
It is nippy here in the mornings, but the sun is shining.
My food has been good. Sugar free since Ash Wednesday, minus one slip up last week. Praise the Lord, I did not go into a binge, and I got off the sugar right away.
I will post when able.

Well I would guess we all have the same praise today, that being that Osama Binladen is no longer with us. It may be difficult for some to rejoice in a human death but I think we are all relieved that he is gone. Of course as long as satan is around there will always be more like him but at least there is one less like him.
Please pray that I can get over these blasted allergies, my throat feels like raw hamburger and my head is full of old sweat socks! I don't recall ever having them this bad. At least I have an appt. with my pulmonary doc this week maybe he can help me out. Go forth and enjoy the new week! God bless! Karen

Sounds like a great time even if it was cool! See there your son has obviously forgiven you for any past issues and loves ya anyway. You've worked hard to be a better person and deserve the credit for it! Enjoy and have a safe trip Mon.

Hi Karen,
Sorry I have not been here in the past couple days. I spent most of Saturday with my older son, celebrating an early Mothers Day. He and I are both going to be away next weekend. He took me to a Phillies game, and we were freezing, not knowing how cold it was going to be yesterday. The weather reports said it was to be 70, and it was more like 58 and windy, and we were sitting in the shade. So, we ended up going to the store where they sell clothing, and we both got sweatshirts. I wanted one that fit, but the zipper did not work, so he found me a nice one that had the same shade of blue as in my jersey, and it was cozy warm. The blessing came last night when I texted him to make sure he got home safely, and to thank him again for a fun, exhausting day, and he replied "Thank you for being my Mom." Tears still come to my eyes when I think about it.
I would appreciate prayer as I travel on Monday and Tuesday. I am driving from here to Michigan, via Pittsburgh. I am staying near my younger son, and will visit with him while there. Also, please pray for him to be disciplined to get the paperwork done that he needs to go back to college next semester.
