Good Morning Karen,
I am in Pittsburgh, getting ready to leave for home. 5-6 hours on the Pa Turnpike is on my agenda today. I have an appointment with my pain specialist, at home this afternoon.
Praising the Lord, my son fixed my laptop, and was not going to charge me. I paid him his going rate, because he is broke, and it was cheap anyway. Geek Squad would have been a fortune, and my son rescued the thing from total ruin by troubleshooting, and seeing fire damage, and helping me tremendously.

Praying for safe travel for Trish as she heads home today! I got to go to the dentist this PM but ended up not having a problem just me being overly cautious. I take meds that dry my mouth out so I'm really prone to cavities and tend to panic at every twinge, but guess it was all in my head, pun intended.

I am thankful for a good visit with my daughter's family, but today, Wednesday, it comes to an end. I am heading to Pittsburgh to see my son, and pick up my computer, which he fixed for me. Please pray for safe travel.
Also, my bursitis pain is back with a vengeance, and I am scheduled for a second cortisone shot next week. My pain med is not cutting it for me. Please pray the pain is minimal as I spend 12 hours in the car over the next two days.

Slow Tuesday here not much going on, just catching up on making some doc appts. Sometimes I think I'd have no social life if it weren't for doctors!

My Mothers Day was so special this year. I got to spend it with my daughter and her family, and we had a wonderful day. First, son-in-law made breakfast for all of us. Then, I got a gift card to my favorite candle shop in town, which we don't have back in PA. I went shopping and got some neat stuff for my apartment. Then, son-in-law barbecued steaks on the grill for us. What a treat.
Please pray for my grandson and daughter. Daughter is at her wits end with grandson's sleep pattern. He normally sleeps through the night, but has been getting up fussy in the middle of the night, and not going back to sleep. He is sick, and she has to work. Son-in-law is working out of town for a few days.

Well here it is Mon. again already. Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day. I did, grand daughter and BF came to church with us again and gave me the sweetest card addressed to My Mother, My grandmother and Friend. Well, dress rehearsal was not without drama. My poor granddaughter was dropped while doing a wheelbarrow, and she got hurt, so she went off the stage crying, but came back and made a valiant effort to perform the rest of her routine. Too cute...all those little 3-4 year olds on stage in their adorable outfits.

Ahhh TGIF the end is near. All you mothers out there make sure you enjoy your special day. My mom has passed but hubby's mom is 91 yrs young and still going strong, she amazes me. Enjoy your weekend all and I'll be back Mon. God bless! Karen
