Hey Martha, Being nervous is totally normal. In fact being terrified is pretty normal too. It is a big step but I'm am totally with you when you say you'd rather take vitamins everyday for the rest of your life. It is definitely worth it. Congrats on your date. I didnt have a boot camp but that sounds pretty cool. Everything will be fine. We will all be praying for you.
Love, Jacinda
Howdy Martha!
As far as I can tell the vits you have are fine. Every doctor has different requirements. Mine requires injectible B12. They said that the B12 pills don't get absorbed sufficiently with the pouch after RNY Gastric Bypass. Is that what you are planning on having??? Instead of Equate my docs have us either take Centrum complete chewables, 2 per day, or Children's chewable multivitamins 2 per day, but Equate Chewable is probable fine, if you are not sure you should check with your doctors. Also an FYI, it was my understanding that you should not take the calcium together with the multivitamin or your iron because iron will bond with the calcium and prevent it's absorption.
Good Luck & Blessings to you! Heidi L-S
