4 days to surgery!!

Well I had my IVC Filter placement the 18th and my by pass surgery is April 25, this coming Tues. I will be on the losing side!!! I am so ready and excited. And I have such peace. Does anyone read these posts? I enjoy reading about all of you. Wish someone was in my area. Joan

Hi Joan, We are going to make it. The clear liquid diet isn't fun, but it is with great hope and anticipation that this time next year we will have seen remarkable differences. Kim M.

Hello Joan, glad you are almost to the losing side. I felt the same way, very ready and excited, also felt peace at that time and that the Lord was with me in this trip! I know everyone is unique in how they experience life and I think it is normal that some would be more anxious than others and so I don't discount that. But I was like you, SO READY to have it done. Even in the days after the surgery when I was pretty sore I never once regretted having done this and still think it is one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I can keep up with my grandkids so much easier now!! God Bless you on this journey to better health. We will be wanting to hear back from you along the way...keep us posted.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am so blessed and excited that I can have this chance to really be healthy and like the old me that I thought was gone forever. I wish tomorrow were here already! I cannnot wait. I hope I can sleep. Thanks again for the email. I didn't think anyone ready my posts or profile. I did submit a pic but it isn't up yet even though it has been weeks. Joan M
