Question...

As a RNY patient I have experienced "dumping" from time to time. For the last several months though, the episodes have been becoming more frequent and much worse symtom wise. The last couple of times have been REALLY bad. I was describing these to my mother and she told me that what I was describing sounded like a "hot flash", menopause.... I was like, WHAT? She said "yep" that's what it sounded like to her. SO, my question is this... have any of you ladies who had the RNY also started menopause and could the symtoms be similar to dumping?? I am 44 years old, but I had a hysterectomy at the age of 36. I have my ovaries but I do remember my Dr. telling me they would probably only last about 10 years. I am just at a total loss. ME?
