What do you celebrate on this holiday? "On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he is risen!" Luke 24:1-6a "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions it is by grace you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God..." Ephesians 2:8 "But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ for he himself is our peace..." Ephesians 2:13-14a Christ the Lord is risen today, Hallelujah! Blessed Easter Gary

Wanda, What a blessing our families are and how I thank God for mine. We also, attended church today and then I fixed Easter dinner for my wife (Sandy had surgery and spent 15 days in the hospital and is still recovering at home) two kids, and my Mom. We had a wonderful dinner together and then I did the dishes. God is so good to provide such wonderful blessings. I used to work in a very large call center for a bank. It was called Old Kent Bank. 5/3 bought us out so I lost my job. God has since provided and I am now an insurance agent representing AFLAC. I love my new job. I am glad that you were able to encourage your employees and bless them with candy. God Bless you, Gary

Gary, Our pastor asked the regular attenders to come on Saturday night if we could because there was suppose to be about 3000 new people on Sunday. We have 7 services planned. We pray that the 3000 people will know and accept the message of Easter. This morning, our kids had Easter baskets and an egg hunt and then we talked alot about how in Biblical times a groom would prepare to get a bride, the wording, the wine, the rooms in his father's house etc. and how the very same is true for our Groom and when he comes to get us His Bride. We also talked about how the Priest (don't know what word to use here) blew the rams horn exactly at the death of Christ as the sacrificial lamb. The kids could understand it and It was special. kim M.

Kimberly, Praise God that you and your family were so flexible and willing to give up attending for this Sunday so that many more could come to know our Savior. Let me know what kind of turn out there was and how many came to the Lord. Also, it sounds like you and your husband are very creative and what a blessing it is for the kids. God Bless you, Gary
