UPDATE ON GEORGE'S DAD

Thanks so much for all of your prayers. George and I have felt them all day long. His dad came through surgery ok, the doc said his gallbladder was in really, really bad condition. If they hadn't gone ahead and done surgery, he wouldn't have lasted too long. Praise God! His breathing was a little labored after surgery so he is going to stay in SICU tonight. George is going to stay with him, he was able to come home for about an hour before going back to the hospital and is pretty exhausted. Please continue to pray for his dad and for George to be uplifted. Thanks so much, we love you all!! Georgina

Thanks for the update Georgina. I'm glad to hear he is doing so well. Keep a close eye on him for while he's in the hospital. Actually this is advice I give to everyone going into the hospital now. The husband of one of my mother's friends had gallbladder surgery last year and was doing very well. She had stayed with him in the hospital every night until they said he was doing well. She decided to go home that night instead of staying up there with him and he died in the middle of the night. Since he was in a regular room and was a few days post op, he was no longer on all the alarms and stuff so no one noticed that he had passed for several hours. It was very hard for her because he had been doing so well and I think she felt guilty for not being there. I'm not telling you this to scare you. I just always recommend to everyone now to always have someone there with you when you are in the hospital. The nurses just get too busy when they think everything is ok.
