Prayer Request
Just a request for every Christian out there. Please say a prayer for my husband George (who posts all the time). His father is scheduled for gallbladder surgery tomorrow. After a long week and not knowing if it was his heart or gallbladder, he is finally going to have surgery. He is 81 yrs old and George is the only caregiver. This is becoming a difficult time, realizing that our parents are getting older and we need to make decisions about their future. His dad has been very independent up until now, but has become somewhat confused and lethargic, the docs say that it could be from the meds, but we aren't sure that is it. We know that God is with all of us and all will become clear in His timing, but we are human and feel the need to have some control. Please pray that God's will will be done and George and his dad will feel our prayers. Thanks for all the support that we receive from each of you, you are all special to us!!
Thank you in advance for your prayers, God will reward our efforts!

Georgina, PLEASE know (and let George know) that I am praying for you guys! George is such a blessing and inspiration to me! God is faithful! I know HE will sustain you and George and touch his dad. PLease keep me posted. Can you e mail me your address? I'd LOVE to send George a card! Ya'll were such a blessing to me when my wife died! THANK YOU!! Randall
Hey Georgina, I am praying for all of you. My family is going through a very similar situation with my 81 yo grandmother. Its hard to realize that someone who was once so independant can no longer make decisions for themselves. It is very difficult on the caregivers too. I hope all goes well with the surgery and that they figure out what to do about the meds. Keep us posted!
Love, Jacinda
Georgina, you and your husband are very much in my prayers. For 4 years I had both mother and grandmother living in our home. After grandmother passed to Glory at age 96, mother continued to live with us for 14 more years. My hardest times and my most blessed times were caring for her until God called her home at age 90. It is very difficult for us to see these changes occur in those we love.
God bless...
