I have a surgery date

Hello All! My surgery is scueduled for 4-17-06. I am excited, and I must admit a little scared (which I think is normal). I know God has great plans for me (Jer 29:11), but I need encouragement and prayers. I am 42, the mother of two, and the wife of one I do feel blessed because my surgeon is also a Believer! I just wanted to post and introduce myself to you guys! Thanks

Hi Michelle! That is awesome! I will be thinking of you that day...will be really easy to remember cause it is hubby's bday! It is normal to be apprehensive of the unknown...but don't let fear overcome you. Remember it is not of God. Satan is the author of fear. He wants to have power over you...but you are precious to God...and are so much more POWERFUL than Satan! We are glad to have you in our family here! The amazing journey is just beginning! Take care! Congrats on getting a date! Of course you have concerns and maybe a bit apprehensive but the decision making process that brought you this far, realizing you need the assistance of this surgery to get back to a healthy weight, and knowing the Lord is with you, these can see you through. I do believe this may be one of the very best gifts I have ever given myself and it benefits my family as well. Hope you will keep in touch here.
