*** THURSDAY ROLL CALL ***
Good Morning! I hope your day is a good one. Sorry about no roll call yesterday. I left home early yesterday to go with my children to get their passports. We stood in line for 2 hours. Then we met friends for lunch and went and looked at a house they are interested in buying.

Hi Suzy Q and everyone!
Suzy, you have no doubt mentioned before why your kids are getting passports but I can't remember. Where are you all going?
QOD answers:
1. A nice side effect to having my daughter in law and her friend with us this week is that they are doing all the cooking. Her friend is cooking this evening and I don't know what it is, something that involves chicken...
I have at my house children with these ages: 3,4,5,6,7 and 15! In the evening one of them cooks and the other runs the bath assembly line for all except the 15 yr old. they are all boys except for my 4 yr old grand-daughter. I'm at work all day so I can just come in and enjoy the grand kids and the company. I have been doing the clean up after meals which I prefer to cooking anyway
2. We don't eat out much at all. I don't think we even average once a week. Probably twice a month.
3. As a kid, I had a wonderful mixed breed dog named "Ruff"
4. Honestly I am not familiar with movie stars, I enjoy reading much more than movies so I'm sort of out of it in that regard. My favorite actors are like Jimmy Stewart and a few like him...I am so dated
Gina,
My family is going to Europe this summer. Hubby and I and the 3 kids (well, I guess they are really adults, but only one is self supporting. They are all in college.) are going to Italy and Greece. Then the two boys, ages 23 and 20 are going to stay and backpack through Europe for a month. I had always told my husband that I wanted to go to Italy for my 25th Wedding Anniversary, which will be in November of this year. Then when we started planning our trip, we decided we really wanted our whole family to go. And since they are all in college, we figured we needed to go in the summer. Soooo, to make a long story short. We leave the first of June.
Thanks for asking,
Suzzette
It's already dinner time and DH and I are just going to eat a bowl of oatmeal and have some fruit. He's had a long day at work...and I've been studying and "playing" around with my profile page.
1. Quaker oats, toast and fruit is what's on the menu at our house this evening.
2. We probably eat out (since it's just the two of us) 3-4 times a week.....most of the time, it's Wendy's $.99 chili.
3. I had a lot of pets growing up...mostly dogs. One year for Christmas my mother gathered all the pictures of me and my pets from early childhood to adulthood and put them in a collection frame. It was one of the best presents I've ever received.
4. If I could be a movie star/TV star I think it would be Della Reese. She is a minister, she sings, she has a wonderful testimony and she is full of the joy of the Lord. Yes, that's who I would like to be if it wasn't me.
Blessings,
