**Col. 3:15 GRATEFUL POST**

Colossians 3:15 says, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Today I am thankful for my Creator who created such a beautiful place for us to live and the sunshine here in Sherman.... For my canine child Gracie who loves me unconditionally... For being able to go to work out at Curves when the doctors told me the only exercise I would be able to do would be water aerobics (God is so awesome!)... For a God whose mercies are new every morning.. Blessings, Carolyn

I am grateful: For having a place that I can come to online and feel the very presence of God in it. For a husband that loved me at my largest weight and was never ashamed of me For a mortgage. You might find that silly but we had a home foreclosed from us in 2002. Everyone told us we wouldn't get a mortgage for 7 years. God had other plans, He got us the PERFECT home for us in 13 MONTHS!!! For the freedom we have here in the USA, that we can worship the true and living God and have no fear of imprisonment or death or persecution. Dawn

I just found this message board!! Great little bit of inspiration for themorning! thanks all for being here! Im grateful for an awareness of Him in all the little things around me.. Also, like the last poster, I am grateful as well for a new home. We also had one foreclosed in 2001,,and was told the same thing. Well, he is a God who makes dreams come true isnt He? We needed 3 thousand dollars for the down payment,,and we recieved an unexpected check in the mail for 3151.00!!! just a short time after we prayed! We will be moving into our brand new just built home on March 30th,,and its right across the street from my best friend of 34 years!! Now, isnt that just like Him??!! I too, am grateful for a supportive husband who loves me, fat or otherwise,, And Im grateful for another chance at life. I was 58 when I had my surgery last September, suffering fro CHF, edema, joint pain, high blood pressure etc. Today, at 90 pounds off, I feel great and have no problems at all. He's an awesome God!! Besty, First let me say that I am glad you found us!! We are a very active little forum that loves the Lord and eachother. Isn't that just like us to put limits on God. He tells us to dream as big as we can and He's still able to do bigger than that!! You probably never dreamed of owning a home so soon, let alone across the street from your best friend!! Amen!! He really does perform "exceeding abundantly above all we ask or even think!!" It is an exciting life,,living for Him!!
