Weekend Prayer Chain

Acts 6:4 "but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word." Anyone who has a petition that they would like to bring before the Lord, please post it so that we might pray and agree with you. If you are going through something that is too difficult for words, simply say you have an unspoken request. Our Father in heaven knows all and we will still lift you up in prayer to Him. My requests: 1. For the Lord to continue to work on my heart. I desire so deeply for my flesh to loose this battle I have with getting hot tempered over trivial things. I want to love like Christ loves, unconditional. I want the speedbumps in my life to teach me lessons of love, not anger. 2. For my family, this includes my immediate family, my church family, and my OH family. I ask that everyone that God chooses me to cross paths with in life is blessed abundently. Dawn

1) For my complete healing and to keep standing when all I have done is to stand, and stand some more. 2) I walk by faith and not by sight, so this pain in my side, while not denying, I deny its right to be there in Jesus' name. 3) For my faith to be increased and for my unbelief to be reduced! The doctor is doing a needle biopsy of my thyroid on March 17th so I ask for your prayers regarding that situation....and, I've been battling a cold and sore throat the last couple of days. I haven't had a cold since before WLS nearly 2 1/2 years ago. 2) My oldest daughter is under a lot of stress right now and she tends to "internalize" things...please remember her in your prayers this week. I always tell my DH, if a problem isn't worth praying about it's not worth worrying about (He's a worrier). So I hope everyone takes their "worry time" and converts it to "prayer time" this week. Good morning!! All of you women are so beautiful! What a delight to came here and see people praying for one another and praising our magnificent LORD!! We have not because we ask not! Our yard sell went incredibly well yesterday! Praise the Lord!!! 1. I need prayer that the house we are in now would find a renter this week. 2.And that the house my parents are trying to get will go through this week with no complications. 3. That our move would be easy on our children and finances! 4. We are in need of a miracle concerning our taxes! We can not get the accountant the paper work to start until we have enough to pay for their services. Then our taxes could be very high this year! Thank you all so much for you love and support. Hi all, I am requesting prayer for 1. God's will in my leading a christian WLS support group. 2. I need to grow up in the area of finances. 3. I need Go's interventioned in my 13 year old daughter's life. I have raised her as divorced/single mom. I adopted her when the Lord clearly had this in His plan for me and her. But, she has grieved never having a dad and now that she is a teen, she is TOTALY driven to fill her needs with male attention. I live in fear because of her extreme unhealthy behavors. I really never thought that the Lord was going to ask me to raise her as a single mom. I was sure that He would bring a godly man into our lives. (That's my whining you hear between the lines). I do need a miracle to keep her safe, she loves the Lord, she is just very broken. Our days together are very stressful and I am trying to find the joy in the middle of all this. Hi J. Marie I just read your prayer requests, and was compelled to reply. I was that little girl once without a male figure, I unfortunately didn't have any figure at all. It is awesome thought that she has you. I had my grandmother for 14 years(she died after that) and that was enough to see me through my rough teens times that I sought out attention. I ended up with probably some of those unhealthy behaviours. But it didn't last long. You have given her the greatest gift already...the knowledge of the Lord!! With that she is truly never alone. Without it I would have never survived, it has gotten me through some very hard times. I am now 33 and have an amazing family. I do pray for both of you. Please let her know that she is loved, and that she is beautiful and the only man she really needs is God and things will fall in to place as he has a plan for all of us! Teen years are stressfull regardless of anyones situation, just different issues. I was a single mom as well for many years, and when I least expected it...there he was. Take care and God Bless!!
