I've never done this before, so I hope it is alright. My children are all home for Spring Break. (I have 3 in college) So, I am staying close to home this week to try and spend as much time with them as possible. Questions for the day: 1. How many children do you have and what are their ages? 2. What was the deciding factor that caused you to check into WLS? 3. If you could visit only ONE place in the world, where would it be? 4. What was the name of your best friend growing up? 1. How many children do you have and what are their ages? I have 3 wonderful kids, DS-23, DS-20 and DD-19. 2. What was the deciding factor that caused you to check into WLS? Having to go on daily meds for High Blood Pressure. 3. If you could visit only ONE place in the world, where would it be? Italy!! And I am going in June. 4. What was the name of your best friend growing up? Are you still in contact with that person, and when was the last time you spoke to/saw them? I had two, Mary Taylor and Nancy Westerfield. I haven't seen either of them for 20 years, but I still email both of them weekly.

There wasn't "one" factor. More like a pile of them that added up. For one, I got tired of crying myself to sleep every night because of the level of hate I had for myself. 3. If you could visit only ONE place in the world, where would it be? Hawaii 4. What was the name of your best friend growing up? 1. I have three wonderful children: Son JV is 30, LVR our oldest daughter is 25 and then the youngest daughter is CRV and she's 19. 2. The deciding factor for me was high blood pressure and acid reflux that was uncontrolled by prescription medications. 3. If I could visit one place in the world it would be Greece. 4. Hello Suzzette!! I finally ahd some time to log in here at home. I love your questions!! Like Dawn said, feel free to jump in and do roll call if no one else had done it. Ok, here are my answers. 1. How many children do you have and what are their ages? I have one son. He's 9 years old and is my pride and joy! Since he's on Spring break vacation in Dallas with my sister, I have not seen my baby in almost a week. I'm so glad he's coming home tomorrow!! I also have a 13 year old cousin whom I'm raisin as my own. Kinda neat to have her because we get to have "girl" talks!! 2. What was the deciding factor that caused you to check into WLS? my goodness, too many factors. I was tired of being tired. 3. If you could visit only ONE place in the world, where would it be? Disney in Florida. Never been there not even to the one in California. 4. What was the name of your best friend growing up? Are you still in contact with that person, and when was the last time you spoke to/saw them? My best friend's name growing up is Lori. I last spoke to her about a week ago and saw her almost 2 weeks ago. She lives in Borwnsville (south, TX) and I spent 3 lovely days with her!! HUgs! Letty

Hey Suzie and all, I am a day late but I'll post anyway. 1. I have a 4yo and a 5yo. I am busy! 2. Its hard to pin it down to one thing that pushed me over the edge to WLS. But I guess I'd have to say that I was just tired of feeling so bad all the time. 3. There are so many places I would like to go and all for different reasons. I don't think I can pick just one. I'd like to go to Israel to see the holy land. I'd like to go to Europe and site see. I'd like to go somewhere warm and tropical and relax. I'd also like to go to New York just because I've never been there and I would like to see it in person. 4. My best friend growing up was named Mary. It was a pretty unhealthy relationship so we have not kept in touch over the years. I have a new best friend at work now. We've been best friends for over 10 years now. She is a real friend because she always tells me like it is whether it hurts or not. No games! Have a great Saturday! Love, Jacinda
