Good Morning to all of you! I have missed being on the board, so I thought I would start roll call this morning. It is suppose to get up to 60 degrees today!!! I am so excited that spring is just around the corner! Now for today's questions: 1. What are you planning on doing today? 2. Do you have any exciting plans for this spring or summer, since your weight loss? If so, what? 3. Do you have any disappointments in your WLS? 4. Are you able to eat anything you want? If not, what? 5. Do you have a prayer request for today that we can all lift up with you to the Lord? Love you all! Cindy

1. I am waiting for a construction crew to come to pour the concrete for our garage floor. I will work at the computer all day for the youth center, then this afternoon, after school gets out, we'll go into the center to be open for the kids. After that, my daughter and I will be going to get groceries. 2. I am planning on planting a SMALL garden and also planting flowers! I have not been able to do these things in years! 3. None at all! Thank You, Lord Jesus! 4. Dry hamberger or dry chicken won't stay down for long! I have not eaten anything sweet, like candy, ice cream, etc. But I don't think that I would "dump" on sugars because I have used sweet and sour sauce and things like that and I get along fine. PTL! 5. For my family members that have turned away from the Lord, to return to Him. A friend's house needs to sell; our brother-in-law is having hand surgery in a few weeks; a friend has very bad heel spirs and is planning surgery in a couple of weeks, but doesn't know if it is the best thing to do. Thanks everybody! Have a wonderful day in Jesus! Love, Cindy 465/324/150

Good morning. I am excited about the spring weather we will have today, though it will rain too. I hope to do my walk outside today rather than at the gym. I am looking forward to traveling this summer via plane to visit friends that I haven't seen in a few years since I would not fly becuase of my weight. One food item that I find interesting that does NOT bother me or make me dump is chocolate. I don't abuse it, but I do allow some in my diet. It is good lesson of discipline for me. I truly am learning the habit of eating smaller amounts by choice, not just becuase I may get sick or feel uncomfortable. (How often did that reason stop us from bingeing in the past?). Today I ask for prayers for my niece who unfortunately has parents that neglect her and don't show her love through their actions. I believe that the rest of my family will love her to a healthy and happy young lady...though there's nothing more damaging than knowing that your parent's put themselves before their children. Please pray for Shannon, that she will know that she is loved. She is 12 and already has issues with food and a weight problem. She medicates with food, I can see it already. Thanks and have a great day. Cynthia

Good Morning Cindy as well as everyone else!! Cindy, you look beautiful!! 1. What are you planning on doing today? Well, I've taken the girls to school and stopped at Curves and worked out. Now I'm home waiting on someone to upload something so I can work (Medical Transcription). Other than that, nothing planned. They are having a book fair at my daughter's school and we may go tonight and let her pick out some books. 2. Do you have any exciting plans for this spring or summer, since your weight loss? If so, what? My mom is having total knee replacement surgery in May. My plans are to go to Arkansas immediately after school is out and help take care of mom. Then in late July we have a trip planned to Disney World, if everything works out. 3. Do you have any disappointments in your WLS? None. 4. Are you able to eat anything you want? If not, what? I'm 3 years out, so I can eat pretty much anything. Pork kind of makes me go, yuck, but it isn't because I can't eat it. 5. Do you have a prayer request for today that we can all lift up with you to the Lord? Would everyone please keep my daughter, Kayla, in your prayers. She is in 5th grade and has to take a test next month that will determine whether she passes onto 6th grade or not. If she does not pass that math and reading part of this test then she will either have to go to summer school or be held back. If she goes to summer school it would mess all of our plans up I'm afraid. Pray for me too that I will be able to help her understand these math problems and just to help her in any way that I can. Thanks so much!! Shel

Thought I would join in today. 1. I am going to meet my husband for lunch, then go look for some sandals for summer. My kids will all be home from college tonight for a week of Spring Break, so I will cook a big meal for them. 2. We are taking a family trip to Europe this summer. All five of us for 3 weeks. Then my two boys will be backpacking for another month after me, dd and dh come home. I am soooo excited. We are going to Italy and Greece. 3. Not for one minute have I regretted this surgery nor am I disappointed in any way. I have gone from 235 to 130. A size 20 to a size 4. I am happy, happy happy. 4. I am a little over 2 years out and eat just about anything I want. I am lactose intolerant now, so I miss my bowl of cereal and I have to eat any sweets on a full stomach. 5. My husband has a lot of stress at work, he could use your prayers. Have a great day, Suzzette
