****MONDAY ROLL CALL****
Happy Monday, March 6th, 2006!!
Psalm 7:17 "I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High." When I read this verse the first thing that I thought of was how blessed we are to live in a land where we can freely worship the Lord without fear of being imprisoned or death. So often we forget the little, but important, things in life.
QOD:
1: What is one thing that you take for granted?
2: Spring is quickly approaching, what is your favorite spring flower?
3: Do you collect anything? If so, what?
My answers:
1. Waking up every morning. I need to remember to thank God for allowing me to see a new day.
2. hyacinths
3. yes, baskets and boyds bears
Have a blessed day!
Love,
Dawn
Good Morning Dawn and everyone! This is a beautiful day here in southern Georgia. I have already gotten my work out done and am feeling pretty good right now. I'm fixing to get to work. Anyway, as for the QOD:
1. I think we as Americans take a lot of things for granted. The first thing that popped into my head when I read that question is my family. I take for granted, I think, that they are always here for me even though I do try to remember to thank God daily for them.
2. My all time favorite flower is the Day Lilly. My grandmother had the orange ones growing in her ditch when I was growing up. Everytime I see them, I think of her. I have always loved Day Lillies.
3. I guess you could say I collect coffee mugs. Weird thing to collect huh?! LOL But, whenever we travel I like to find a unique coffee mug to take home. If hubby travels without me, I tell him to find me a coffee mug.
Everyone have a very blessed day!!

Good morning everyone! It sure feels good to be back posting. I miss this site and all of you. That is something I do NOT take for granted!
1: What is one thing that you take for granted? I hate to admit it, but sometimes I take my DH for granted. We both get to doing our own thing, and I need to remind myself to include him more in things I am doing. I think we'll take a walk together today...
2: Spring is quickly approaching, what is your favorite spring flower? I don't know if it is a spring flower, but begonias always remind me of my mother.
3: Do you collect anything? If so, what? I like angels and have a few of them. I also like hummingbirds.
That's it for now. God bless you all.

1. The one thing I take for granted is the freedom to assemble in church and worship God. Some mornings when I want to roll over and go back to sleep, I think of what a gift that is!
2. My favorite spring flower is the tulip. I love verigated and giant dutch tulips.
3. I seem to be collecting dust and debt! () We collect cat's meow houses from places that we visit or that are sentimental to us.
Good morning! It is a lovely day! I just completed the Genesis trilogy over the weekend and I recommend it if you like to read ("The World That Then was", "He Who Lifts the Skies", and "A Crown in the Stars")
Now I have started on another series on Genesis. A very different take, but also seems very interesting. One striking thing in the series just completed is how quickly they forgot, following the flood, about God's ways. I thought it was interesting that while they were building the tower at what came to be know (later) as Babel, some of them were already saying that the stories of the flood were just tales that had been handed down but did not necessarily actually happen.
QOD
1. Sorry to say that I do often take things for granted, but the older I get the less I do that. I have lived long enough to note that this life is short and uncertain. But I also need to practice thankfulness for every blessing.
2. I love the spring wildflowers (bluebonnet, indian blanket, mexican hats, and the wild mustard that has the fields a solid golden color). I am afraid we won't have a very good showing this year....been so dry.
3. I have a collection of dragon china, and a small collection of elephants made from various types of stone, wood and bone. My only on-going collection is rocks. Where ever we go I am on the lookout for any rock that might catch my eye. I have done this all my life and I have some very unusual rocks and minerals.
Hey Dawn! Unles it happened last night she hasn't. Its amazing, she has gone over 11 1/2 months! It just has to be soon. Meanwhile Steve leaves in the morning to take two of the mares to an area north of Dallas to have them bred. I hope we get the foal safely born and soon! (Our mare is at a friends stable to foal)
Hello Dawn,
1. I believe what I take for granted most often is we can read our Bible and have freedom to go to church and praise God and not be put to death for our Faith, also I do take my husband and children and all our health for granted, my kids are overall healthy and I thank God for that. I have had a couple friends with children who were very Ill, one girl (she was 17) whom I adore got leukemia and had a 40% chance of survival and she gave it all to God and has since overcame it last year, PRAISE GOD!! I thank God for her.
2. Oh I love them all, I am a flower fanatic.
3. I collect dvds, I am in the process of collecting all my favorite tv shows that are no longer on tv and first on my list was The Pretender.
thanks and God Bless Regina
