South of Border for Surgery?

Are there any of you who have been South of the Border for Surgery? Who did you use? Kim M.

Hi Kim, I haven't been yet, but if insurance or voc rehab doesn't work out I am planning on going to Dr. Joya. I have heard wonderful things about him and his practice. And it is affordable compared to the states!http://www.drjoya.com/ that's his site. Good luck. Oh and yes I still have over eating problems even though I desperately want this surgery. It is hard not to sometimes because you think well I can't loose without surgery anyway so whats the point of even trying now. It all goes around in circles. I just try again everyday to stay focused on Christ and not over do it!! God bless you~candy

Thank you Candy, I have been checking on Joya and Rumbaut the most since I want Lap RNY.I submitted to insurance on 2/16 and they say it takes 10 days so it should be shortly- hopefully. If not, I will go to Mexico. Thanks for sharing, it sure helps to have brothers and sisters in the faith to talk with about surgery and now specifically Mexico. Pleased keep me posted on your course of action. You have blessed me and I pray you are immensely blessed too Kim M.
