hello everyone!!!

1)Well, my wife made it through her surgery, but not without her share of pain. She really had a rough time moving around and yesterday was really hard on her. She started to have regrets and was upset for the morning, but got better as the day went by. I really feel bad that I couldn't do anything to make her feel better, but there was nothing I could that I wasn't already doing. She is doing much better today, but her pouch is still cramping on her, but that will go away in time. Her mother took the baby to her house for the day and will most likely do the same all week. After this week I don't know what they have planned. 2) My father is doing much better. He is breathing on his own and is awake most of the time. He is still on a trach and feeding tube, but he may get to go to a regular room next week. Thank you God for allowing both my father and my wife to heal up well and please continue to heal them both. 3) Okay I went to my 3 month check up while my wife was in the hospital since the doctor office is next to the hospital and I am down to 275 lbs. I have lost 89 lbs since surgery and 41% of my body fat. I have lost a total of 120 lbs since March of 2005. God has been really good to me and my family and so have all of ya'll. Thank you so much for all your prayers and please continue to pray for my family and their well being. Also, we are trying to sell our house and we have someone looking at it and asking about it. Please pray that God will allow this man to buy our home so we can move away from a busy road and find a bigger home in a slower area. God bless ya'll Ken

WOW Ken, you sure do have a lot going on!! I am so glad your wife and father are doing well. Praise God!! And you are getting so much healthier, that is wonderful! Now did you say "baby"? I didn't know you had a baby!! Now that I can relate too!! for sure!! Mighty brave of you to try and sell your house on top of everything else. Sounds like my life! We might be moving back to GA soon, Lord willing. I will be praying for that sell and smooth transition! Well congratulations on everything, weight loss, wife's surgery, new job, baby, house selling, and fathers health!!! whew , did I forget anything? God bless you ~ candy

Hi Peg!! How are you doing?? We are always busy here. We have all had the flu for more than a week now. So we have been going back and forth from the doctor to the pharmacy. I think the fevers are pretty much gone, just congestion and coughing hanging on. I haven't spent too much time on the computer lately. How was your latest check up? God bless you~Candy
