I am frustrated

Dawn, This post was brought to my attention and I want to clarify that your post was NOT pulled because any one member complained about the post. The post was pulled for the reason that we emailed you about, nothing more. Members on the site can complain about a post, but unless there's a clear reason within our Terms of Service that the post is to be removed it's not going to matter that a member emails to us. I just wanted to let you know that no one complained. Amy Williams

Amy, In all due respect I was told it was pulled because it was found "offensive". And had you not received a complaint from the individual I'm bothered by I doubt you would have seen it. Honestly, I was a little hurt that I posted something that was simply "as a matter of fact" and in return I was belittled and rudely spoken to; then in return I'm made out to be the bad person. I mean I hear all the time about "Christians" complaining about stuff on TV and the response is always the same, "If they don't like, they don't have to watch it." And I think that is how it should be. Sure, I don't like half the stuff on Showtime, therefore I don't subscribe to it. I did nothing more but post factual information on a forum it was in reference to. So why can't the same phrase hold true for that? I understand that you have rules and such that need to be followed, but I honestly did not see where I was offensive. The person that was rude to me twisted the words so that it appeared that way was the offensive one. Because I am a firm believer in Jesus I am going to close with this; Matt 10:34 says "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword." Those who turn their backs to God will be offended by hearing His truth. Deep down I think I should be happy that my post offended a nonbeliever. Dawn

Dawn, I can't seem to locate the post now, but from what I remember the post included famous figures (political, etc). I could be wrong, I'll have to try to find the post again. It was not the content as much as the names that where in place in the information that you posted. I can imagine that if you did get an email from someone where it might appear they were the ones that complained, but we honestly didn't get any complaints from an one certain person. I do understand your concerns. Certainly nothing personal Amy

Amy, Well thank you for telling me that. I did get an email from the individual that was harassing me that SHE was going to have it pulled. Then within 2 hours I got the email from OH. Maybe it was coincidence. For future reference, I don't make a habit of posting controversial or offensive information. I actually make my best effort to encourage, uplift, and inspire everyone I meet here. Dawn

Dawn, I certainly know you do post many uplifting things here and I hope you will continue. Sometimes we never know what might be offensive to another person That's how message boards get sometimes, it's never clear in the tone or intent... I know you didn't mean to offend or hurt anyone. Keep being who you are Amy

Very interesting. I think that you should not allow this incident to kill the joy that you have in loving us soooo much, in sharing your love for Jesus and reminding us of His love. We are going to offend people no way around it. Just keep loving. Just keep scattering the blessings of encouragement and scripture. You have a ministry on this website! Just let your light shine!!! We will see God's glory here! We will see answers to prayer, hearts strengthened, eyes lifted upward, faith grow wings. We will be a precious part in the journey of each and everyone that posts here. You go girl, oh and by the way sing your heart out!!!! Don't allow anyone to steal away any of your joy!!!! Love J. Marie P. S. you bless my socks off!
