Hi everyone! Here are my answers to the questions of the day... 1) Lindora (expensive....lost 50 lbs) but gained it back. 2) Gas prices here in California are still pretty high. 1: Prior to WLS, what diet gave you the best results? well, i did a cabbage soup diet once and lost a lot of weight with it because i thought i was going into the navy, but i sobered up and changed my mind 2: Gas prices are going down now. What's the average cost of a gallon of regular in your neck of the woods? they are some where along the lines of 2.15 - 2.20 a gallon. of course the ones closer to my house are higher 3: What version of the bible to you prefer? i like many versions when i am preparing a sermon or a bible study, but i like the NIV to read on a regular basis.

Good Afternoon everyone!! Dawn thanks for starting Roll Call today. Everyone is looking so good. I just wanted to quickly thank everyone for the prayers for my father. He is doing so much better. He is in a nursing home regaining his strength. He will never be 100% again, but I have seen this really have a positive affect on our family. My sister is now starting her journey for WLS and both my brothers have been working out and watching what they eat. None of us want to go through what both of my parents have gone through and we are all making positive changes....Thank you so much Lord for opening our eyes and for being there with us every step of the way, we are nothing with our You and all Your Glory!! QOD~ 1 - Actually, I had taken Metabolife and lost quite a bit of weight with that but wound up putting it all back on and then some. 2 - Funny thing, actually gas just went up again here in Milwaukee. right now we are at $2.39/gallon. I wi**** would start going down again. 3 - The only bible I have is the NIV student bible that my husband gave me the first day we went to church together. I think it was maybe our 3rd or 4th date. hi everybody!! It is so good to see your beautiful faces! We are all home with the flu right now. Isaac was prescribed the tamiflu medicine, but Lily is too young for it. I am going to try to go to the doctor tomorrow. 1. The Weigh Down Workshop... I lost 80lbs then stopped losing and stayed the same weight for 4 yrs until i became pregnant. 2. Hi Dawn.... It's been a good day here....this AM I went to the hospital for my annual mammogram, bone density (DEXA) and I had to have a thyroid ultrasound since my thyroid is a little enlarged on the right side. Tomorrow AM I will have a scan of it. I had a late lunch and then laid outside a little soaking up some of the nice, warm So. FL sun. QOD. 1. I had some success with the early Nutri-System diet...the one that kept you in ketosis. Caloric intake was limited to 700 and they encouraged their protein drinks and 68ozs of water daily. I started in May at 168 and by July had lost to 130. I managed to keep it off until the following January when I got pregnant with our third child. 2. Gas prices are $2.31 for regular and $2.44 for premium in Miami. 3. There's nothing more beautiful than the King James Version, however for my daily study and reading I prefer the Living Bible. 1. The Gallbladder diet. I needed to get my gallbladder out about 6 months after I enrolled in Graduate School and was told I would not get a refund if I withdrew, so I stuck it out and lost 60 pounds in 5 months from nausea, vomitting and eating dry toast, rice, applesauce and cream of wheat...I would not recommend this!! 2. Gas is around $2.29, but a local grocery chain offers a promotional that you get 10 cents a gallon off at participating stations for every $50 in grocery you spend. I try to save up to about $1 or more and then cash in. 3. My first real Bible was a Women's Devotional NIV and that's what I read everyday, but I also love my husband's MacArthur Study Bible that we got him for Christmas last year...it was one of those "I want this gift but I'll give it to you and 'share' it."

That is so funny! I have my women's devotional NIV sitting on the shelf collecting dust and every Sunday what am I holding? My DH's John MacArthur NKJV!!! Isn't that a great bible though? I bought my DH a parallel bible with KJV and NKJV so he would let me use his MacArthur. Dawn

What's the average cost of a gallon of regular in your neck of the woods? I just filled up at 2.01 a gallon for either regular or for super. 3: What version of the bible to you prefer? I have the KJV and also the New American Bible, it is almost the same as the KJV but it has a a lot of notes in it to help us better understand what was happening in Jesus' time. I bought my hunny the Pastoral edition of the the Bible called La Biblia, Latinoamerica. I read this with him as well, it is amazing the interpretation between the two, I learn so much in both!! I ahve to say some pills mo itered by a doctor in Mexcio. Ir emember loosing 50 lbs on them back when I was 16 years old...og my goodness! that was 10 years ago! 2: Gas prices are going down now. What's the average cost of a gallon of regular in your neck of the woods? mmm i pumped at 2.13 yesterday but have seen it as low as 2.09. 3: What version of the bible to you prefer?
