I finally found a protein I like!!!

I was shopping at Wal Mart the other day and came upon a protein powder called designer whey.....well, I bought some since it was in chocolate and it has 25g per 1/3 cup serving in 6 oz. of milk. I love it!!! I dont feel like I have to choke it down so this is a definate plus for me!! So I thought that if anyone here was having trouble getting in their protein this may help. The box cost 19.98 but it actually tastes like chocolate milk! So thses are my 2 cents worth! Love you all, have a blessed Sunday!! Steph

Must be our lucky week....I found a protein bar I like (it's taken me 2 yrs.) South Beach Meal Replacement Bar....Chocolate Peanut Butter. It's like a rice krispy treat on top of a choc-peanut butter wafer....I usually put it in the refrig and get it good and cold. have a good Sunday!

Thanks for the tips gals! I'm ok with my zero carb isopure protein drink but I also have not found a protein bar that I liked. I am going to try that one out. Sounds yummy!

Vitamin Shoppe has Rockin Roll P'Nut bars....they are THE best!! Bariatriceating.com sells THE best protein shakes, Protein Delite. They are the best! the Very Vanilla Berry is yummy and the Chocolate tastes like a Wendy's Frosty if you blend it with Hood's Carb Countdown Milk Try the pnut bars, I usually can only eat a bite or 2 at a time, a whole box lasts me a month or more. Steph, Can you drink it with water? I can't drink milk anymore since surgery. How many calories does it have? I use to drink Muscle Milk,NOW thats a great tasting protein drink,but to many calories. I bought a brand called Nectar and a flavor called Fuzzy Naval,not that good at all but I have no choice right now. I can barely stomach it. I have my eye on designer whey for awhile now but I am scared to taste,even tho I can return it and get a different one. Let me know. ROsie

Rosie, You can most definately drink it with water!! It has 103 calories and is low in carbs. I have yet to find a better tasting protein and I have tried a ton so far!! It may be worth a try for you too!! And like you said you can return it if you dont like it. Hope this helps, Steph
