Christian on American Idol!!!

Hey all~ How many of you watched American Idol tonight?? Well, I did and I just needed to come on here and post some "props" to one of the contestants. She is defiantly the one I am voting for this year!! I didn't catch her name but she is a obese woman. When she went to her first audition Simon said, "Are we having a bigger stage this year?" Then after she sang Paula mentioned she sounded like a former contestant named Frenchie. Simon said, "More like ALL of France!" WELL, today girlfriend glorified God and witnessed to millions!!! She walked in and said, "Simon, a lot of people want me to say a lot of things to you. I want you to know what you said hurt me and I cried. But I forgive you. Without you apologizing to me, I forgive you. You see, if Jesus could die for me and my sins; I can impart that same grace on you and forgive you." PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!! Now, how many of you could go on television and have the courage to say that?? Dawn

Dawn, I saw that and I was so proud of her! She has a beautiful voice and is obviously beautiful inside and taking an unbelievable opportunity to witness to the world. Praise the Lord for using one of his children in such a powerful way! ~Wanda

Hi Dawn, I saw it! She is so beautiful! I was like, Hey! she's got a bottom like mine, woohooo!!lol I am very glad they have let her continue! There was also a guy who mentioned Jesus, I am glad they did not cut those comments out of the show! Good for them! Lets all vote for her!

Hey Guys, My name is Tracy and I am a born again christian and I am going to try out for American Idol next season. So be looking for me and please vote for me if I get to go to hollywood. Dawn, I saw that and it was awesome...but there is another side to that story. The other side to that story was it actually pierced the skin and heart of Simon and Randy. That was the first time I saw Simon actually act the way I heard he really is. He supposedly was a church going person when he was young, and if you notice, he really likes Christian songs, but does not think they will sell on American Idol. I don't know if Simon is a Christian or not, but he does like the Christian songs and I saw him visibly moved by her actions. Forgiveness will bring even the toughest critic to their knees. Hopefully people will remember what she did and what she said. Thanks for posting this Dawn God is Great!! Deborah
