How many of you use fitday.com to track your food intake? I love it!! Yesterday I stopped by my fridge 3 times and grabs cubes of regular chedder cheese (5 in total). I justified it because of protein and calcium. WELL, when I calculated my intake for yesterday on fitday I almost died!! That cheese killed my diet!! (342 calories and 28 grams of fat) More than 1/3 of my calories were from snacking on cheese!!! This was yesterday: Calories: 948 Fat: 42 carbs: 66 Protein: 76 Sure, protein was great, but look at the fat & carbs I consumed!! Here's today's totals: Calories: 375 Fat: 9 Carbs: 16 Protein: 54 Much better don't ya think? Who would be interested in posting our numbers daily? I would be more than happy to start a thread everyday for it. It will defiantly keep us on track. Love, Dawn

after you register, click foods on the left hand side then either search their data bank our enter the nutritional info yourself for what you ate. you have to enter each thing seperatly. I find that it is easier to manually enter the nutritional info myself because I know it is right. after you enter it once, it is saved for the next time you eat that same thing. just play around with it, you'll figure it out. That is a huge difference Dawn. Do you worry about taking in too few calories? This is probably a stupid question because you are just a few weeks out. But, I would be perfectly happy with a 948 calorie day. Even those crazy liquid diets get around 900 calories a day. I am afraid of slowing my metabolism down too much and paying for it later. I have not tried fitday.com but it sounds like a great idea. I'll have to check it out. Love, Jacinda

Jacinda~ I would be concerned with my caloric intake if I wasn't eating. But I am eating quite a bit; I'm just conscious to make the right choices. 90% of the food that I eat is SF, FF, or Diet. I think that has a lot to do with why my calories are so low. Oddly enough, I am having more energy every day. I have been adding 5 mins a day to my elliptical workout. I have read recently of how one of the girls here on OH had got admitted into the hospital because she was loosing to quickly (100# in 3 mos). The doctor said the she has an eating disorder. I don't even know what I lost because I won't get on the scale until the 21st. I was allowing myself to be consumed by the number I saw so I choose to make a wise decision and not get on it. If I did, there is no doubt in my mind that my calories, fat, and carbs would be even lower. I don't want to risk being admitted in the hospital too. Thanks for looking out!! Dawn
