Update on father...
Good blessed morning all-
Well, I thought that I would pop on to give a quick update on how my father is doing. We finally found out on Saturday what they are treating. He has been diagnosed with Sepsis (a staph infection in his blood) as well as Septic Arthritis. He is on heavy doses of antibiotics and pain meds right now. The Septic Arthritis is originating from his shoulder which is close to to the perm cath that he has/had for his dialysis. The perm cath was removed since that is/was the source of the original infection. He has been confused and delusional most of the weekend. I have been there praying and talking with the doctor's and nurses' as well as trying to help care for him. Please, if you could continue to keep him and my family in your prayers, we know that this is going to be a long journey before he is ready to come home. It is difficult on my mother as I stated before since she doesn't drive and he is in a hospital 1/2 hour away.
Thank you again my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Kathy-
Thank you for your prayers. It is hard to go through this simply because he is so helpless right now. I keep thinking of my father as the strong man that I grew up with. I just keep praying that "this too shall pass" and that we are all able to stay strong for him and continue to prayer for him.
God Bless-
Jeanna

Jeanna, I am really glad that they finally figured out what the problem is. Now they know what to be doing. Very important. I will be praying for your father, mother, you and family.
God bless you ~ Candy
