Thanks for your Love and Support

Thank you so much everyone for your support and love during this difficult week. It is so hard to lose a member of the family, even the four legged kind. Tommy and I are doing a little better each day, and knowing that Smokey did not suffer, and that she is running and sleeping on a big pillow in my mansion in Heaven, makes it easier to bare. We picked up her remains yesterday, we had her cremated since we are renting, did not want to leave her here, and I found a very neat photo cube that is leather and her wooden box fit into it perfectly. We then went through all the old photos and it was very healing to see them and remember her. Whoever says pets are just animals never had a bond, because it was just like losing a child!! I love you all very much, and the support and notes of encouragement were overwhelming and really helped us get through this. Hi Deborah, I didn't get to respond the other day, but I am glad you had support. I had a cat named Pippi, for 12 years and she passed of renal failure. I remember how horrible and sad it was. I was in nursing school and I had an exam the next day. Well in my grief i studied all the wrong stuff and failed miserably. oh well. I do believe there are definitely animals in heaven!!!! I hope you are doing well. God is so sweet to put such precious little beings in our care!! Love, candy
