**Thursday's Roll Call**

Hello everyone! Guess what?? Today I'm 18 months post op!!! Man, it's been 1 1/2 years already?? Time flies right? I went to weigh myself and I've lost a total of 158.6 lbs! PTL! I just updated my profile if you want to take a peek at my last post of 2/2/06. Just keep scrolling down....yes, I know..I like to write! Ok, since no one has done Roll call, I'm taking the courage to do it today.*wink* QOD 1. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday's? I like to do my chores on Saturday. I like to do some deep cleaning at home and then get dressed and ready and take my kiddos out to lunch and then to a movie or visit with some friends. 2. Are you a working mom? I so, how do you feel about working and taking care of your children. If not, how do you feel about being an at home mom? I'm a working single mom and I sometimes have that "guilt" feeling of not spending too much time with my son and my little cousin. But, I make up for it on the weekends. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? I have 2. Well, I actually have one (9 year old boy) but I'm also raisin my 13 year old cousin (13 year old girl). So, yes, I have 2 kiddos! *smile* 4. What praise report to you have today? My praise report today is my total weight loss!!! I'm minus -158.6 in 18 months. I love you all and God Bless YOU! Letty

QOD 1. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday's? My day to sleep in and then spend some time with my 8 yr old daughter. 2. Are you a working mom? I so, how do you feel about working and taking care of your children. If not, how do you feel about being an at home mom? I'm a working mom and constantly feel guilty about not being home when my daughter comes home from school. My husband is a stay at home dad, but I still feel the guilt. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? I have a 25 yr old step-daughter. We've had custody of my 8 yr old granddaughter she was 3 months old. She's my little girl. I also have a 4 yr old granddaughter who lives with her mom in TN. 4. What praise report to you have today? God is very good to us. He has given me so much. My health is so much better than a year ago. I've lost 116 pounds since last May!

What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday's? -on the Saturdays i dont work, i like to sleep in and then clean some, lol. then me and my kiddo spend quality time together too 2. Are you a working mom? I so, how do you feel about working and taking care of your children. If not, how do you feel about being an at home mom? -yes, i am a fulltime working mom. i feel guilt sometimes, but i have done the best i could with what i had and left the rest up to God. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? -i have one 13 (going on 25) year old daughter.. she is the world to me. 4. What praise report to you have today? -even though i was quite nervous.. i attended my first WLS support group meeting last night. it was great, about 30-40 post-ops from the same surgeon who operated on me (Dr. Wilson). little did i know that Channel 13 was gonna be there filming and portions will be aired on 2/23.. they interviewed both Drs. Wilson and Scarbough too, it was pretty neat. afterwards i went to floor 9 (Bariatric Unit) and thanked nurses Elizabeth and Isabel for being so great to me. they were surprised and happy that i came up to see them.

Hi Letty! Bless your heart for starting Roll Call! I just got home from substitute teaching at the middle school....7th grade science class! I had a blast! Thank You, Jesus! 1. House work, TV, get caught up on the computer and my profile. 2. I worked fulltime before we had kids, then we homeschooled our two children from kindergarten to graduation. Our son is now an ordained pastor, bus driver & ministerial director at the youth center. Our daughter is a homemaker, substitute teacher and works at the youth center, also. I have just recently started to sub teach. I still would not want to work fulltime....the center is that almost anyway....but volunteer. I LOVE being a stay-at-home mom! 3. Cathy is 25, almost 26; Lathan is 22. 4. That I am able to be so active now, after only 3 1/2 months since surgery! Thank You, Jesus! AND today is me and my husband's 27th wedding anniversary! PTL! The devil had tried to destroy our marriage 16 years ago, but God WON!!!!! Thank the Lord! Wonderful questions, Letty! Good Job, Girl! I love you! Cindy

Good Evening everyone, Letty you have done awsome in 18 months, you look great, you are such a pretty girl, god has blessed you. 1. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday's? We sleep in sometimes, we clean the house and the church and just relax for a change of pace. 2. Are you a working mom? I so, how do you feel about working and taking care of your children. If not, how do you feel about being an at home mom? I am an at home mom and a homeschooling mom so very busy but I love it and love getting to spend all that time with my kids. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? I have 7 children, they are girl, 15, girl 13, boy 10, girl 8, boy 6, girl 4, boy 2 , they are mine and my husbands life!! 4. What praise report to you have today? I am finally feeling better today after being soooooo sick for 3 days and I am back to fighting mode after being denied this week from ins. for surgery, and Im not giving up!!! God Bless, Regina

I have a meeting to go to at my pastor's house, but I do want to respond to the questions. God bless you all. Peg 1. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday's? My boys are grown, so I love to see them and to see our grandsons. My DH and I usually spend time together that day doing stuff too. 2. I went back to school part-time when my younger son was in the 6th grade. I earned my associate degree the same year my older son graduated from high school and went to work full-time at that point. My younger son was in the 9th grade. That was several years ago, and I just retired a little over a year ago. have that "guilt" feeling of not spending too much time with my son and my little cousin. But, I make up for it on the weekends. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? 2 sons: Paul 36, and Mark almost 34. 4. What praise report to you have today? They picked up my hospital bed yesterday! I don't need it any more! Praise the Lord!

Congradulations! You've lost the total weight of my husband. I think that is amazing. I have two people in me to loose... Wow..girl. You are Awesome. 1. If not, how do you feel about being an at home mom? I used to work in the real world.. Now I'm home all the time and the only thing I miss about the real world is talking to ADULTS and the PAY!! 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? (7 Kids) Boy Taylor 11, Boy Ecclesiaste 9, Boy Tomas 8, Girl Sofia 7, Boy Marvel 5, Girl Elvalina 21 Months, Boy Melchizedec 7 Months 4. What praise report to you have today? Ummm..............I'm not sure... They all sound corny today.

Well, it's 12:06 AM on Friday....but I'm going to post for Thursday's roll call anyway.... 1. What is your favorite thing to do on Saturday? My husband and I usually go out to breakfast, come back home and straighten up around the house. Later in the afternoon we try to see a movie if the kids and grandkids aren't visiting. 2. Are you a working mom? Moms are always working..... Actually, I'm not working right now....I'm bridging from LPN to RN so I'm pretty busy with online nursing classes and hospital clinicals.....not to mention housework, yardwork, etc. 3. How many children do you have and how old are they? My son is 30, then a daughter who's 26 and the youngest daughter is 19. The baby in the family is the lab/jack russell mix....he's 4. 4. What is your praise report today? I passed my math test.... My youngest daughter in college had a wonderful experience in her Statistics class today.... My health is good..... I am just blessed far more than I deserve.........thanks be to God. luvitsunnyv
