OT:PRAYERS NEEDED

Hi Everyone, I come to you tonight because I got the phone call tonight that I've been dreading for 15-1/2 years. I had breast cancer/mastectomy in July 1990. My mom died of breast cancer in December 1996. I have four sisters. Tonight I found out that one of them has breast cancer. I haven't talked to her because she has asked that we not call until tomorrow. She wants to be alone with her thoughts. I understand and will respect her wishes. (Something that wasn't done when I asked the same thing in 1990.) She had the lump removed and some lymph nodes. The nodes are clear. We will not know until the end of the week what course of action they will take. (Chemo, radiation, mastectomy, etc.) She lives on the other side of the country from the rest of us. I can't go, but there are 2 sister and a sister-in-law that don't work. I'm hoping one of them will go to be with her. I ask that you pray for my sister right now. I hope she is thinking about my survival and not Mom's death. Thank you so much. I know I can depend on all of you for the prayers she needs right now. Hugs, Genny

Hi Genny. You and your sisters and the rest of your family are in my prayers. My mom was a survivor. I am going with a friend this morning to her surgeon's appointment.
