My good friend Lisa Fisher posted this on the Alabama Board and I chose to bring it here too! You all have been so good to Randall and his family and I thank you so much. Becky I was thinking...... Original Post by Ms Fish at 7:33 AM CST on 01/21/2006 Onederland-I-wanttobe, AL - RNY (08/03/2004) boy, isn't that a scary thought. Usually when I start thinking I get into trouble. And this just may get me in trouble. I hope not but if it does, then all I can say is....I did it because I love my brother and I wanted to help. So here goes! I want to issue a love challenge to each and every one here on the board. Many people have asked me what we can do for Randy, Torey and Allison. As we all know funeral services are very expensive. Even more expensive than I realized. The bill for Joie's funeral is about $7,000.00. We all know that Randy lives on a fixed income and now that Joie has gone on to be with the Lord, they have lost her income. Deborah, Randy's sister, and I were talking the other night about how we were gonna help Randy get this bill paid. And Deborah said to me...if we got a dollar from every one that has called to say they are praying for us, love us and is there any thing we can do then we would have enough to pay for the funeral cost. So it got the wheels turning in my mind (even scarier thought!), so I am asking you if Randy Culpepper has ever prayed with you, for you or has helped you in any way, then PLEASE mail a $1 to the church or to Randy. So this is my challenge! Can we help Randy like he has always helped us!? Know that I am not trying to upset or offend any one. If you do not want to help in this challenge then that is fine. But just know each and every love offering will be greatly appreciated and greatly needed. ******* Randy does not know that I am asking you this so please do not hold it against him! If you must hold some one to blame for this..it must be me. As we have said before and will continue to say...we love each and every one of you and you are our family. RE: I was thinking...... You know my thoughts on this. Randall had been here for EVERY one of us and loved us all--Unconditionally. He has supported us and prayed for us when we never knew he was doing it. I believe that now is the time for us to show some love and support back to him and if anyone wants to flame anyone---they can start with me. However, I can not really believe that anyone would ever flame anyone for asking for help for Randall and his family during this time of need that they have. We all know that this was unexpected and unplanned and it took everyone by surprise. No one was more shocked by this, than Randall and his family. I know that Randall had appreciated and continues to appreciate all the phone calls and cards and all the love and support that has been shown to him--but those things don't pay the bills...and unfortunately there are bills associated with this situaion, that there is NOT insurance to cover. I agree--if each person that has been touched by Randall over the years, would look deep in their hearts --- and reach out with whatever you could afford to share, his worries would be lessed and his heart touched. I join the challenge that ask those of you who have been touched by the Love of Randall and his family to reach out to him now and help him in this way. If you can affor a dollar...that is a dollar that was not there before, If you can afford more--then that is great too! Becky---help me out on this---If I understand correctly, there are a couple of options out there. PLEASE, correct me if I am wrong. 1) Make a donation to the "PayPal" account and those funds will be given directly to Randall to meet needs as he sees fit. 2) Send monetary donation to the Church address, but with Randall's name on the envelope and these funds will be handed over to him to use as he needs. Randall Culpepper Faith Walk Ministry Church of God (Formerly Luverne Church of God) 153 Jeffcoat Street Luverne, AL 36049 3) Send a monetary gift to the church in honor/memory of Joie and those funds will be applied to the funeral/burial expenses. Faith Walk Ministry Church of God (Formerly Luverne Church of God) 153 Jeffcoat Street Luverne, AL 36049 Please note the ADDRESSING differences in options two and three. The method of addressing will determine how the funds will be dispersed. If Randall's name is on the envelope, the funds will go directly to him and if his name is not on the envelope, the funds go towards the funeral/burial expenses. 4) If you prefer, donations can be made directly to the funeral home and will be applied to the cost of the funeral/burial. The addresss for that option would be: Turner Funeral Home 360 East 3rd Street Luverne, AL 36049 Some of you may prefer to use this choice, howerver my understaning of this is that while the Funeral home will accept the payments and apply to the account, they will not forward information to Randall as to whom has made payments or the amount of them. I know that Randall would like to be able to thank you all for your support and this would prevent him from being able to do so. So, if you choose to make a payment direct to the funeral home, please understand that he would not know who those payments came from in order to thank you for them. Again, be it one dollar, five dollars or five hundred dollars, every dollar makes a difference in this situation and every dollar as well as every prayer and thought for this family is needed and APPRECIATED. BECKY---PLEASE as I mentioned earlier, correct me if I am wrong in any of my comments. Thanks everyone for your support of Randall and his family. Their needs did not end after the burial of Joie. They still need our LOVE and PRAYERS and SUPPORT and I know that you will all be there for him. That is what makes this group the great group that it is! So many people have posted and written emails asking what they could do for the Culpepper's. This is an answer and one that is within the reach of most all of us. Let's take the challenge and let's go above and beyond in showing our compassion and love for the CULPEPPER Family! God Bless you all! Carolyn~

The Bible says to give to those in need, and to help the orphans and widows (widowers) and when those who ask for help, to give freely. I consider this an offering, not part of my tithe, and my husband and I will gladly give as soon as I get paid on Tuesday. I will probably mail a check into the church. I am more than happy to do this, because one day someone I know and love may need it, or God forbid, this could be me or my husband, and I would hope that someone would do the same for me. You sow what you reap, and we believe in the principal of sowing and reaping. Okay, I don't mean to offend by preaching, but I just so believe in tithing and giving to those who are need. God Bless, and I wi**** could be more, but we will send $25.00 on Monday. I was also thinking about a college fund for the children. Has anyone thought about setting something up for them? Thanks so much for the information and addresses. God, I ask that you miraculously multiply the love offerings sent to the Culpepper family, and that you meet each and everyone of Randall's needs, and those of his children at this time and always. In Jesus' Precious Name, AMEN Love in Christ, Deborah and Tommy Schueler
