Hard to Understand
It is so hard to understand after reading about Joie, how someone who was so healthy and happy one minute can be so ill the next. When I pray all I can hear God say is that we are not promised a day, an hour, or another moment on this earth, but we are promised eternal life with Him.
I am so sorry that one of our Brother's in Christ has to endure the loss of his wife, and also watch his children go on without their mom. It really makes me think about not taking each moment with our children or family for granted.
I know Joie is in Heaven and face to face with Our Saviour, but it is so hard to understand. I also know that some never receive their healing on earth, and that only God knows the beginning and the end, we only see parts. I can't wait to meet Joie in Heaven one day. I know God is going to use this for His glory, and I am believing that people will be saved by her life and the testimony to the faith all have displayed on the OH board.
God is still on the throne, He alone is sovereign, and all Praise be to Him.
I pray for His strength for the Culpeppers and for all those who are mourning.
God Bless, and love to everyone out there!! Life is too short to not say we love each other and to show that love.

I wanted to include these verses...
God Bless
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Revelation 14:13
Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.
Psalms 116:15
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
