Good Morning everyone!!! I thought I would jump in and do roll call today!!
I was reading in Daniel 9 last night, he was praying to the Lord and a couple of things caught my attention. One thing was
vs 18 ....We do not ask because we deserve help, but because you are so merciful.
& vs 23 (Gabriel came to bring a message) The moment you began praying, a command was given....
Those two verses got me thinking about how God works in prayer. And of course none of us DERSERVE anything, but He is a merciful, gracious God, and we should praise Him everyday for that!!!!
OK a few little question for the day
1. Whats your favorite color?
2.Whats your favorite animal and why?
3. When is your birthday and how old will you be in 2006? (optional )
4. What do you think heaven will be like?
5. And let's keep going with our prayer request!
God bless you all!! Candy

1. pink an yellow, I am such a girlie girl
2. cat, I just love their personality and affection. Well I really used to be into cats and cat things until I had kids.(shh, I even got a cat tattoo when I was a rebelling eighteen year old ) Then the cat stuff really took a back seat. We had to give my cat Chloe up for adoption when we moved to Florida. I hope to get another one when my kids are not babies anymore.
3. August 22........I will be THIRTY this year I can't believe it, my husband will be thirty Feb 1, hehehe
4.Oh I can't wait, I know it will be perfect love, perfect emotions, adventurous, and so powerful, praising God all the time. I think we will have different responsibilities and task. There will never be a dull moment!!!!!
5. I have to meet with a lawyer today and department of finances about my company and work out some issues, I could really use prayer for this! Pray that I would have a hunger and thirst for righteousness!!!!
Well....Good morning ya'll. I guess I will just jump right in and answer these questions.....
1) my favorite color has changed, for a long time it was black, green, and blue(dark), but since I have lost some weight I like bright colors. Funny how things like that work
2) I don't think I have a favorite animal.....I do know which ones taste better than others if that counts
3)12/27/1968 and I will be 38
4) I don't think about what heaven will be like, I just except it for what what it is....HEAVEN
5) pray for my father that he will one day before he dies except Christ as his Lord and Savior
Ya'll have a great day and remember it is always your choice to have a great day or not.
Good Morning Candy & All!!
Thank you so much for starting Roll Call today. I haven't gotten the courage to do so yet. I know, just do it!!
QOD:
1. I love Blue!! Now, I have been repressing my love for the color pink for years but now that it is making a resurgence, I am all about brining out my girlie side and love it!!
2. My favorite animal. Wow, that is a tough one. I of course love our dog, Diamond. She is a little Golden Retriever that is the most mild mannered little thing you have ever seen. My DH says that she is his lap dog, they are best buddies. So I guess right now it would have to be dogs.
3. My birthday is April 19, 1971, so that makes me turning 35. I really can't believe it. I feel more like 25, but my body lately feels like 85.
4. Heaven - to me Heaven is pure love.
5. Prayer request - I am still working on my WLS journey, please pray for my patience during this process. I also yearn to be closer to God's Word and need to bring myself to it much more often. Lastly, please pray for my parents, they have not been in great health for several years now and only through the Lord will they be able to make any sort of improvement.
God Bless all of you today and everyday~
Jeanna
Good Morning all! I hope everyone is having a blessed day. It has been quiet with work over the weekend but hopefully things will pick up. Anyway, as for the QOD:
1. My favorite colors are green, yellow and red. I like brighter colors.
2. I would probably have to say cats. I have always loved cats, but I do love dogs too. I'm more of a big dog person, though. We have a beagle right now (hubby's rabbit dog) but I would really like to get a golden retriever. We also have Miss Kitty who is at least 8 years old and Flower who is about 7 months old. I would love to get another cat too.
3. My birthday is February 7, 1967 and yes, I will be 39. Hubby will be 41 on February 16th and my oldest daughter will be 13 on February 25th AND our 18th wedding anniversary is February 12th. February is a very busy month for us.
4. All I can think is that it will be absolutely wonderful. We will finally get to see our Lord and Savior face to face.
5. Prayer requests, I have one aunt that had a stroke over Christmas, her name is Gloria and another aunt who has alzheimer's, her name is Janice. My mom as she is the youngest and feels obligated to help take care of them. Mom is having knee replacement surgery in May. Also, don't forget those who have recently had surgery like Kelly, Steph, Dawn and Kt B and those having surgery coming up. Least but certainly not last, pray for Joie and Randall. I know we all are, but just continue to lift her up everytime they come into your mind. I can't even begin to understand what Randall is going through right now. As for me, I just pray that I can be the mother, wife, sister, daughter, and everything else God wants me to be.

2.Whats your favorite animal and why? I don't think I have a favorite animal. I'm gonna think hard on this one) ok, ok..I like them all except spiders, snakes and anything with too many legs!! *smile (sorry, I'm ina good and goofy mood today!!) Actually, I'm always like that!!!
3. When is your birthday and how old will you be in 2006? My birthday is on November 10 and I will be 27. OMGoodness!!! *smile
4. What do you think heaven will be like? No pain, no tears, no darkness, peace, joy, love....WOW, I can't wait!!!
5. And let's keep going with our prayer request! My back. It's bothering me again. My finances and my relationship with my ex husband. A few weeks ago I posted that I felt hate, resentment against him and I don't feel none of that now!!! PTL! I was able to have a civil conversation with him over the phone last night about our son. Oh and my son. He was sick last night and kept vomiting. He's feeling better now but I don't want what ever virus he had to come back. I know it's a lot I'm asking for so I'll stop now!
Thank you for posting today's roll call!!
I love you,
Letty
HI Letty!
I will be praying for your son. That is so neat how God has touched your heart concerning your ex. I thank God that you no longer have the hate and resentment towards him. I will continue to pray for your back and your finances. You are precious - the Lord be with you! I love you!
God Bless,
Lynda
Phil. 4:8
Thank you Lynda! My back is bothering me more and more. I just took some Tylenol and also told my boyfriend that if the pain doesn't go away with it, to please bring me a patch from the pharmacy to place on my back because it's getting a little worse. I'm usually pretty good tolerating pain but since I'm just here at work sitting in front of my computer, it's kind of difficult not to think about it.
I think I know what happened with Joey (my son). On Sunday evening I took my kiddos along with a little friend to their favorite pizza place and since I wasn't there (had gone to the grocery store to buy some fruits) to supervise what and how much he ate, I was told he had overeaten. He learned his lesson now and promised never to that again. My baby!! I love this little man soooo MUCH that seeing him in tears last nigh broke my heart. His daddy told me to give him a massage in his stomach until he either vomited or went to the restroom and I did just that. It seems he didn't digest the pizza because he ate too much of it and it was stuck (I did feel a knot in his stomach) in his tummy. He hardly ate yesterday until last night he ate a soup.
Thank you so much for your prayers Lynda!
I love you!
Letty
Good Morning Candy! And Everyone!
Thank you so much for starting today's roll call! I am praying for you concerning the surgery and I will be praying about your meeting today. What beautiful insight on the Daniel 9 passage.
1. Whats your favorite color? Blue
2.Whats your favorite animal and why? I loved the way Kenneth answered this question! Anyway, cat, I have a beautiful black and white kitty named Hallie and she is my pal.
3. When is your birthday and how old will you be in 2006? (optional ) My birthdate is 1/24/58 - this month I will be 48 years old - I think that makes me the oldest so far!
4. What do you think heaven will be like? "I can only imagine" to quote a song! I know that I will be on my face for a very long time!
5. And let's keep going with our prayer request! Ok, I went skiing last night and had a blast - I have not had a kidney attack for over 24 hours - PTL. But yesterday they took more X-rays and said that I still have two large stones to pass - my heart sank. Please pray that they will just disappear! Please continue to pray for Dawn and her family. Her surgery went well but she has a lot of discomfort.
My daughter tried snowboarding for the first time last night and she was really good! So I guess it will just be me and my husband on skiis. She was so cute - she looked so fluid and I did ski with her for awhile so I should quit my whinning because we can still hang out together on the slopes. I still can't believe I am skiing again! This surgery truly has given me back some of my life!
I am sitting here crying now because my precious daughter (I homeschool) is at the piano playing a beautiful hymn - I am so blessed.
I love all of you and thank God for all of you and may He meet you at your greatest need!
God Bless,
Lynda
