Hi Cindy and all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ. I agree with Cindy. I love and appreciate all of you. I just called and talked with Stephanie Perez! She sounds great! She sure is hoping to go home from the hospital today to give her mother a break from watching her 3 kids. I told her we missed her posts, and she said she will post as soon as she gets home. Thanks for being such a good angel to her, Cindy. I hope I do as good a job for Kathy B who has her surgery January 16th. That's almost here! Dawn, you are her twin! I'm praying for both of you and for those of you who will soon be having your surgeries. I am so glad we can pray for and with each other. There definitely is strength in numbers. Here are my answers to the QOD's, which, by the way, I think are excellent. How do you do it, Cindy?
1. What book in the Bible are you reading right now? Isaiah.
2. What is the farthest place that you have traveled? Hawaii or New Orleans. My geography is pretty rusty!
3. Who was the last person/people that you went out to dinner with? My DH last night. He's my sweetie!
4. Are you a Chevy, Ford or Dodge person? Ford, although we drive a Pontiac and a GMC. My dad sold Fords for years, but my brother sells the GMC line. You go where you can get a good car at a good price!
5. Have you ever been in a car accident? Yes, but nothing serious. That was when I was 16 and was driving my then-boyfriend's car. He was with me. He married me anyway! Luckily, it wasn't my fault!
Love,
Peg
Hi Cindy~
That's funny that you mentioned the technology of the internet. I have always been awed by the technology of prayer. I find it amazing that instantly our petitions can be heard by our Lord in heaven. Even a cell phone requires a signal and of course you have to wait for the person to pick up. But, oh no, not with prayer...it's instant and a line is always available!
QOD:
1. I jump hear there and everywhere. I mainly do topical devotions and studies so rarely am I in the same book for long.
2. I am such a homebody. Physically I have only been as far as NY. But praise God through prayer I have been everywhere! I have hugged a wounded soldier in Iraq, I have kissed a starving child in Africa, I have sat beside each one of you and held your hand. PTL!
3. I went to Texas Roadhouse with DH and my son last Friday.
4. My first car was a Ford, but since then only Chevy's
5. yes, 3. None were my fault. As a matter of fact, I wasn't driving during any of them.
Love,
Dawn

Happy Thursday, I love meeting with you all here. Enjoy the strength in numbers we have and the prayer support we can give each other. After reading what has been written so far today I was reminded of what I heard years ago...."a call to God is never long distance".
QOD answers:
1. I too am doing a topical devotional guide and it skips around.
2. I have lived in Kenya (east Africa) and Singapore. I'm not sure which is the farthest away.
3. As for vehicles; hubby and I both have fords but he also has a Chevy flat bed hay truck.
4. Once I was in an accident, met a pickup on a corner and we smashed left front fenders together. The police ruled it the fault of the road. the road was not wide enough to sustain two vehicles at once. (That can happen in Arkansas which is where I was at the time!)
Hello EVERYONE!
This is Mark, Lynda's husband, I'm home taking care of her today. I'm answering roll call for Lynda today because she is in a lot of pain and on pain killers- she is passing another kidney stone that started passing in the middle of the night. I appreciate how encouraging all of you have been and Lynda tells me all the time about your situations and we have been praying for all of you. We are so blessed that Lynda was able to do this surgery- she is experiencing so much more out of life and is doing so well!!! But I know that it is not always smooth-sailing and Lynda's body is still healing, so I keep praying for her and encouraging her.
I'm answering Lynda's questions for today:
1. Acts
2. Bahamas
3. Me
4. Chevy- yeah!!!
5. Yes, and our 2 daughters were in the car with her and fortunately none of them were hurt. A "new driver" pulled out in front of them and she couldn't stop. And one time when I was driving on the interstate, the left front tire blew out and we went airborn into a ditch and the Lord really protected us as we came so close to hitting a power pole and there was a lot of dirt that caused us to land more safely. Praise the Lord that we weren't hurt as an officer said that we could all have been killed if we would have hit the pole.
I just want to let you know again that I appreciate all of you so much- you all mean so much to Lynda and to me and we will continue to pray for all of you.
In Christ, Mark Seneff

Hi everyone!! I can not say enough good things about all of you and how wonderful you are! It has been such a blessing for me!!
Please pray for our business that God would give us mercy and wisdom. We are having issues with OSHA right now. uhgg. But God is in control and He will never let us go. PRAISE THE LORD!!
1. Jonah... this time I really saw how quickly the people of Nineveh repented and asked for God's mercy and forgiveness. Even from the first day Jonah spook to them.
2. When I was 10 years old we traveled by car from GA to Canada and saw niagara falls. I have been to Texas and California from GA. Never out of the country, (is canada out of the country?? )
3. Sunday afternoon my family went to the Mexican restaurant in town with my pastors family and another couple. Both of my kids are side by side in highchairs at the end of the table, always so much fun!
4. Definitely a FORD girl. The first vehicle I bought and paid for was a ford ranger xlt, extended cab, six cylinder, stick shift with bed liner, ahhh, I loved that truck. Did I mention it was hunter green? It died the year after I paid it off. I currently have a ford free star minivan for my growing family!
5. Yes a few, some I hit, some hit me. The last one I was 37 weeks pregnant with my daughter and had to go to the hosp by ambulance just to make sure everything was ok, it was, Praise God.
I love you all! Have blessed days!!! Candy
