I'M SHOUTING, THANK YOU, JESUS!
I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 364.6 pounds! That makes -100.4 POUNDS!!!!! I'm shouting Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!! Thank You, Jesus!!! 100 pounds ago is what I weighed when dismissed from the hospital! I realize that I have a very long way to go....200 MORE pounds! But through Jesus, it can be done! Thank You, Lord! For my height, for me to be no longer "labeled" overweight, I would need to weigh 150 pounds. That is about what I weighed when we got married. I've prayed about it, and I want to weigh whatever HE wants me to, so if that means 175 or whatever, that's okay with me. I just can't believe how good I feel! I sure didn't feel like this at 364 on the way UP! Thank you All for your sweet, sweet encouragement! May God bless each one of you...His precious child! Love you ALL! Cindy
I have a Question: Do you have a goal, and if you do, how did the Lord let you know what is was? Or will you, or did you, just continue to loose weight until you didn't loose anymore, and then you knew that that was where He wanted you? I was just wondering how others knew what their goal was to be, 'cause I'm still wondering about mine! Thanks Bunches!
WOO HOO!! I'm so happy for you! That is just awesome. As for your questions, I just lost until I stopped losing. I wasn't really concerned about the number, I just wanted to be healthy and be able to get up and down without hurting so badly. I was never given a goal by my surgeon and didn't make one up for myself. I do try to stay within the 170's, usually 177, which is fine by me. I am 5'10.5" tall so I have my height on my side. The Lord will put you where he wants you. Just keep trusting in Him!!

Hi Cindy!
I am celebrating!!! That is absolutely wonderful!! Thank you Lord!! Yes, you may have a long way to go but my sweet Cindy but LOOK HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME!! Isn't is wonderful to have the fighting chance this surgery gives us!?
Yesterday for the first time my doctor set a goal for me - I was a little surprised but happy he did. He told me to get to 160 then we would re-evaluate things. I am feeling so good right now at 218 that I can't imagine what 160 would feel like.
Cindy, you are such a blessing and I thank my Lord and Savior for you and your witness! And I am with you all the way! I love you!!
God Bless,
Lynda
