What would you do??

I have 2 boys, and they are 18 and 19 and I wish they would find a cute girl. They are computer nerds. ha ha. I think it is really sweet and innocent, so don't worry. Just explain to him that as Christians, we don't "date" but we are all friends, and one day God will send you the person you are supposed to be with forever. Just explain it to him, he is smart enough to know if you are freaked or okay. I think your responses were fine. Tell him that one day God will send him his wife, and that you don't kiss girls until you marry them. That will hold him off for a while. Also, you can explain how we/Christians are different from the "world", and that some things we see on TV are not the values we share. Tell him that it is okay to have play dates with his friend, and talk to her mom. Just take them places together. As for her liking him, probably as a friend, they hear things like boyfriend and girlfriend, but don't probably know it like we do. Its about courting not dating. My oldest goes to Oral Roberts University and my youngest goes to a Christian High School. They are both super boys and had "girlfriends" when they were about 9, and fought over one next door neighbor girl over which one was going to marry her, ha ha
