seeking prayer

I haven't been posting much lately, please forgive me? All of you are in my thoughts and on my heart. I have read the posts regularly but have been bogged down with many things, so I don't post responses. So this is why Sally (and her family) need prayer for...... My husband has had an issue of painful back problems, stemming from a worker comp.(not to mention the paperwork nightmare this is), as well as, his own back problems prior. He is in a great deal of pain and has concerns of being on pain meds for so long. He has a past that involved addictions. The Lord delivered him several years ago from alcoholism and alike, saved our marriage and family from complete devestation, isn't HE good! Anyway, my husband is leading a Beta group and an Alpha group at our church, AND we are in Eppuied Minstry Program with Sovreign Grace Ministries to be Care Group Leaders with our church, Covenant Life. My husband has been told NOT to do any physical work at all, to remain on medications( muscle relaxants, low dose pain meds., and anti-inflamms), and rest rest rest. (which means bored bored bored). So Mama has too work all day in a stressful management position, care for a child at home, co-participate in all the ministries, clean after a new puppy, clean house, earn the food, cook the food, and clean up the food. I'm ranting. It's not his fault and he feels so useless around the home right now, while I'm feeling sorry for myself. Please pray for us. The Lord has been so good to us and continues to be so. I just have a bad attitude and feel so overwelmed. My precious Lord is close and he loves me, this I know. Again, be merciful in understanding why I don't post responses right now. But I do lurk. I love you all. Thanks for listening, Sally

Hi Sally! It is so good to hear from you again! I understand why you can't post often - it's ok - we won't forget you! I am sorry that your husband is struggling with back pain. I will pray that the Lord will touch him physcially so he can get back to his regular activities. I will pray for you both spiritually becasue it sounds like you are carrying quite a load! I am glad that you shared what is going on so we can pray for you. It is neat that during difficult times the Lord's mercies and grace become more evident - you obviously have a close walk with Him. I love you! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Hi Sally, I can so relate to how you feel. I have been there in several different ways. First of all, try to hang in there, and remember that God knows everything we think and feel. He knows you are overwhelmed. Cry out and tell him you can't do it all without him! My ex left us and left me with everything to do...but I had NO job...and was in school, and taking care of the kids. I posted recently on this in a reply to Letty. You may have read it. I was overwhelmed as well. Then, I got remarried, and really, it has been like being a single parent again in some ways. I no longer have to worry about money, and my husband is great to my kids, but he is in the Navy. He is gone a lot right now. In fact, we are gearing up for a deployment. So, once again, I am doing most of the stuff that gets done. He tries so hard to help when he can, but he can't help what is going on. Please hang in there and we will try to encourage you the best we can. There are people who know how you feel! Try to encourage your husband anyway you know how. Hopefully, your situation will only be temporary! Praying for you! Stephanie
