Hi there guys, Let me introduce myself. My name is Lorraine. I had my WLS on 12/15/03 weighing in at 245 lbs. I was a brittle diabetic, insulin dependent and had nueropathy in my feet. . I had high blood pressure and took 18 pills a day for all that was wrong. I have lost over 110 pds and have been at "GOAL" over one year now. I am 53 and will be 54 on January 18th. I am a true believer in our good Lord, Jesus. I have a very strong faith in my savior. He walks with me at all times. Anyway instead of rambling on, I am glad I found this board and will be posting and lurking whenever possible. Take care ....Lord Bless all Lorraine

Hi Lorraine! WELCOME! You are in the company of some wonderful people who love the Lord and are encouragers and prayer warriors and have been such a blessing in my life. We are so glad you have joined us! It sounds as though you have had some phenomenal success and I am thanking the Lord! This surgery has truly been a miracle for me also - I am not quite 3 months out and over 75 pounds down! I am doing things that I never thought I would be able to do again and I am off my diabetes and high blood pressure medications. Thank you Lord!
