WOW!!!!
Hi Letty. I am sitting here just chuckling aloud. I am sooooo happy for you! I have joined the Discovery National Body Health Challenge on-line, and by doing so, I could get 2 months free at Bally's. I'm thinking about doing it even though I can't do many of these exercises because of my arms and shoulders. Still.....I could work out on some of the leg stuff. Hmmmm..
I'm praying for you, Letty. You are such an inspiration to so many of us here on the Board. I love your daily verses and your cheerful openness. God bless you, dear sister in Christ.
Love,
Peg
That is super!!
I had my post op today, 4.5 months, and was down 80lbs!! I got a number today though, 160!! I still have 60lbs to go to get to my goal of 150, so I hope I can make it!!
You are doing super, I can't wait to get to 180!!! That will be super!! you are doing so great!
Stick with it! Wish I had some fresh fruit salad too! What are you eating to get your protein in? I wish we had a Bally's here! I gotta find a gym, or something, ha ha
God Bless!
Deborah
Good morning Deborah!!!
WOW!! You are doing in AWESOME!! 80 lbs in 4.5?? WOW!!!
I drink a protein supplement from baricatriceating.com called matrix 5.0 (vanilla flavor). I add 2 scoops of protein to a 16 oz bottle of water, blend it for a few seconds, add a few cubes of ice and drink and mmmmmmm it's good. You can also wisk it with a fork but I just recently started blending it.
God bless you,
Letty
This may be a little late, however, I am so excited for you, Letty. Congratulations!!!! How exciting to receive both blessings in one day.
What a sweet person your sister is to share the membership with you. I have never heard of Bally's before. Of course I live somewhere which is affectionately known as Fort Lost in the Woods. There are not any gyms except for the one located here on post to exercise at.
My starting weight was 354 but I have been hovering around the 250 and 245 mark since I started feeling bad a week ago. The ironic thing is my pants are becoming a lot looser. I have some size 22 pants and they are having trouble staying up. I guess I must be losing inches instead of pounds.
Congratulations again.
