Good Morning Everyone! This is the day that the Lord has made! I will sing and rejoice in it! Today is my granddaughter, Audrey's, 2nd Birthday! We had a big party for her on Sat. but I am going to go over after my workout and play with her for a while. It is so wonderful to be able to get down on the floor and then get back up easily! My 14 year old daughter, Calli, has been getting ready for her piano festival and the house has been full of music - it is great. She has written a beautiful song about butterflies and the way she plays it I can see them fluttering. I love God's creation, especially snow! Ski night tonight - I am so excited! I am thanking the Lord for all of our new friends who have joined us on the Christianity Board and I am praying for all of those who are having surgery here shortly. Please see last few days posts and sign the surgery pages to give encouragement - exciting! Questions for today: 1. Do you journal? 2. Do you make daily to do lists? 3. Do you keep a food diary? I love all of you and pray you have a Jesus filled day! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8 My answers: 1. Yes, I have journaled for years and I love it. I can look back and see the disappointments, answered prayers, and victories and thank God for what He has done but more importantly thank Him for what He is going to do. 2. Yes, I started "to do" lists when I was in college and sometimes feel lost without them. I like to keep my mind clear so if I write things down I am free. 3. No. My eating right now is on a moment by moment basis - having trouble planning because my pouch is so ficlkle still! How long does this last? Love ya all!

Good Morning, Lynda! Good Morning, Everybody! I'm up early today; I am battling a cold and it has been difficult to breath because of being so congested. I hope everyone has a wonderful day in Jesus! And Lynda, I hope you have a great time tonight skiing! 1. The only "journal" that I am keeping right now is my profile on O. H. 2. Yes, I have to have my "to do lists" or I just flounder! 3. Yes, I keep a daily food journal on fitday.com. It is wonderful! God bless! Love, Cindy

Good Morning all! Not much going on here except fixing to get to work. I really enjoyed church yesterday and could feel God's presence with us. I had a blessing yesterday. I always sing in the choir. My husband and I love to sing in the choir. One of the ladies that sings in the choir goes down to sit with her family after the choir gets through singing. She told me after church that I looked so beautiful sitting up there. I thought that was so sweet of her. Anyway, as for the QOD: 1. I've journaled in the past but am not right now. I will go through a phase where I will journal and then I will quit. 2. No, I don't keep a to do list. It might help me get more organized if I did. 3. There are times I will go to fitday.com and keep up with what I am eating just to see how many calories I'm eating in a day. I don't do it everyday though. As you can see, I'm not very good at writing things down. I made myself come up with some meals before going grocery shopping and that really did help me. Now I just look at my list and decide what I'm fixing for that night. Anyway, please remember to pray for Randall and Joie. Everyone have a blessed day! Be sure to support our upcoming surgeries. We have several coming up! Shel

Good morning Lynda!!! WOW, Ski night?? Tell me how do you do it?? How do you find the courage to ski? After going to church yesterday I took my 13 year old cousin with two of her friends ice skating (I know it's not skiing but I'm sure it's very similar right?) and oh my goodness!! Ms. Letty decided to try it and I was soooooo SCARED. I was TERRIFIED. I still feel heavy (I weigh 182, size 12) and just the thought of me falling and hurting myself or not being able to get up TERRIFIED me!! My boyfriend, my mother and my brother all laughed and they even took pictures of me with their camera phones. I want to try it again though. I really need to find the COURAGE to just let go without the fear of falling. So, how do you do it??? Please tell me!! Ok, here are the answers to today's questions. 1. Do you journal? No, I don't but I thought of starting one this year. Actually I thought about it last week and I know it's still not too late to get started. 2. Do you make daily to do lists? Not really. What I do is I set up my outlook calendar for reminders of things I need to do or bills that need to be paid but never a daily list, since I only come to work and go straight home. 3. Do you keep a food diary? No. It be nice to, but no I don't. Love you Lynda! Letty

Hi Letty! Great to hear from you - you have been in my prayers! Sounds like you had fun with the skating! I use to skate too but skiing seems to be my thing. I have skied for 41 years - I started when I was 6! I use to race and so it just comes naturally to me - in fact I skied when I was close to 300 pounds!! I think I freaked the ski patrol out though everytime I got on the mountain - but no accidents! Thank you Lord! The key to skating and skiing is to relax! For me a good run skiing is like a perfect prayer - it just happens. I would love to see one of those pictures of you skating - I bet they are great!! You are so cute!! I love you! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Good morning Everyone, Hope you have fun on your ski's tonight Lynda. Cindy hope you feel better soon. I also am praying that I get over this cold, so I can go to centurian night at my hospital tomorrow night. I was looking forward to going, but don't want to get anyone else sick. Hi shel, isnt it wonderful when people say such nice things to us. Yesterday I was feeling old, Just plain old! My skin has gotten so lose and saggy my face is so wrinkled from it, I have dark circles under my eyes, and felt bad about myself. I went to church and my friend's adult son came in and waved at me (I have'nt seen him in about 7 or 8 months). During meet 'n greet he came over to me and said, What have you been doing? You look great, you look like you're about 30 years old. The Lord know's what we need and when we need it. That made my day. Q.O.T.D. 1. Do you journal? Yes I keep my journal on my O.H. profile. I sometimes journal in a note book, but just my very private thought's. 2. Do you make daily to do lists? No. at least not for me. I do sometimes make to do lists for my son. he sometimes needs a reminder of what he needs to get done. 3. Do you keep a food diary? Yes. My surgeon requires it. I keep one on fitday.com~that's a real blessing~ And I keep the one that my surgeon provided, and reads at every visit. then the nutritionist comes in and reads it too. Hope you all have a wonderful Christ filled day. God bless you, Annette

Hi Annette! I will be praying that you get feeling better too! It seems like this year there is an over abundance of colds going around - it is really bad here - in fact Utah is #1 in the nation for flu. Not a cool thing to be #1 in. That is so neat what your friend's son said to you! What a blessing when someone encourages us that way - it is important to acknowledge it and receive it and I'm glad you did. I think we are our own worse critics - God sees us as beautiful - we are His children! You can tell when someone has that inner glow that the Holy Spirit gives. You are precious Annette! I love you! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8
