Hi I'm new

Hi everyone this is my first time posting. So I really don't know what to say. I have been praying for some support and I was looking around on this site and found this one. So I think it is a answer to prayer. I had bypass just a little over a year ago. And I have lost about 100 pounds,but I still have about 60 to go and I have stopped losing. And where I live there is no support groups. So I feel every lost I just keep praying and keep trying know He will put me where I'm to be.So if you could just pray that I would find the support I need. Thank you so much. In His love, Renay

Renay, Welcome to our little place on the web! I hope you find encouragement and support here as I have. These are very loving people who truly have a heart for God. I have moved twice since having my surgery and have not found a support group either, but coming here I know everyone here supports me and I can always find the encouragement I need here. I pray you find the same here too. Just jump right in and post to your hearts content. Most days someone will post a "Roll Call" where we all reply and tell how we are doing. The original poster usually posts some "get to know you" type questions, but if you can't think of anything, post anyway. Anyone can start the "Roll Call" post so don't be shy. Hi Renay. Welcome, and God bless you. We are so glad you game onboard. I have little suggestion about support groups. Have you tried getting one started in your area? It's just a thought. I am working on getting an information one going in my area, and I made a friend in the process. I posted to my Oregon board. You might try that with the California one. In the meantime, just keep posting here so that we can get to know you and your prayer needs. I will be praying that the Lord will continue to bless you and your efforts to lose weight. Peg
