OT - Prayer Need

My daughter called today and her father-in-law is in his last weeks of life. He has cancer and it has masticized to his brain. They plan to fly tomorrow to Michigan. He is not ready to meet His Maker....both my daughter and son-in-law are Christians but they are young.....please pray that the Holy Spirit will make this man receptive and that my children have the opportunity to witness to him. This is really a burden on my heart because being with my family in eternity is so very important and I know it is important to my son-in-law. Thank you very much. Ruthanna~

Sunny, I will certainly pray for you daughter and son-in-law. It is always such a difficult time when we are loosing loved ones! And to know they have not yet accepted Christ makes it heartbreaking. I pray that the Holy Spirit will lead the father to the Lord and that your daughter and son-in-law will draw close together as they witness to the father. Ruthanna~ Your family will be in my prayers. I pray that those members that already know God as their Lord and Savior will be living examples of the love and promise that He has for us. Jesus has made it so simple to come to Him. He stands at the door of our hearts knocking, all we have to do is open it up and let Him in. It's that simple. Even though he is laying on the bed of affliction counting his final moments, it's not too late for his eyes to be opened to the truth that is our Lord. Love, Dawn

Hi Ruthanna, Your daughter, son-in-law and his family will be in my prayers. What part of Michigan will they be in? Heavenly Father I ask that you would touch this young couple as they come to minister to their father. Father send your spirit to guide them. Comfort this couple as they visit with this precious soul. Lord I ask that this man be receptive to your holy spirit, let him come to know you Father before he breathes his last breath. Lord please be with this family as they begin to mourn the loss of their loved one. Lord you do not leave us as orphans, Father please send the comforter to this family. Father please let this family accept the comfort you have to offer to them. Lord be with this family in their time of grief.
