update on urgent prayer request

My dear fellow WLS sisters, Thank you so much for all your kind words and prayers offered up on my behalf. I went to Sedelia, MO today to Bothwell Hospital where Dr. Hornbostel performed an endoscope procedure. He informed me that my surgery site looks great and he was very impressed with my lab work. However, he was concerned about the look of my new pouch. He performed a biopsy on it and I should get the results soon. Meanwhile I am going to rest tomorrow and try to regain some of my strength. Friday I will have further blood work down and the results faxed to Dr. Hornbostel. Praise God I am no longer vomiting. I have been able to keep my protein drink down this evening. I am still in a lot of pain though. Again Thank you for your prayers. I wept as I reviewed my e-mails this evening when I read your expressions of concern. Thank you so much my dear sisters. Hi Kathy! I am thanking the Lord that you are no longer vomiting and that you were able to get some protein down. I am also thankful that your surgery site looks good! I am going to continue to lift you up in prayer for the pain to subside and that the biopsy will come back ok. Please get some rest and may God strengthen you spiritually and physically. Glad there is some improvement! Praying that you get a good report and that your new pouch heals and starts to tolerate food. Maybe you need to be on some type of ulcer medication for awhile, I have read of many post ops who ran into that problem. Blessings!
