Hi Candy. I just read your profile. I can so relate! I especially related to your "wish" list. And your pictures....wow. What wonderful pictures. You deserve to be slim, Candy. I know how you feel about your relationship with the Lord. I felt that way too before my first surgery. Here's the deal. You are not alone in your thoughts and feelings. I bet there are several of us who felt that way. I always thought about the sin of gluttony and that I just didn't deserve to be loved by the Lord. Guess what? He does love you! This eating disease is a disease. WLS is a tool to help control the disease. I will continue to lift you up in prayer that God will open doors for you to have the surgery if it is His will. Thank you so much Peg! Both of my babies are napping now, so I have a few minutes, whew! Did you see my response to your reply on my other post? I wrote to you this morning. Thank you so much for your prayers! I believe it is going to be prayer that causes my surgery to happen. I know no one is a perfect christian. Most people are trying to just make it through to the next day. The great thing about knowing Christ is that we know there is hope in what we do. Knowing that it is all for a purpose. And starting over everyday is rewarded. God is so good to us, I have so much to be thankful for! I agree that this is an eating disease. I really do equate it to an alcohol or drug abuse type dependence. And I need help, plain and simple. I am not proud of it by any stretch of the imagination. However I do feel like this surgery will help take the steps to get it under control. Sorry if I am rambling on a bit! It is nice just to know that you can relate and understand exactly where I am at. Your picture and your words just seem to radiate beauty! How are feeling today? No more talk of the "C" word now that you don't have your stomach, right? That is wild that they took ALL of your stomach away. I don't know that I have heard of that before.
