we actual did that series "doing life together" in our group. it certainly makes you come out from behind you mask, you might say. It is hard to get connect the heart and mind. But it can make us stronger. You sound like you're doing a pretty good job of it though. Really, you do. go back and read your response. But think of it as one that is giving encouragement. Pretend you're reading this thread that says, "I need a friend!". Now read your response above. You give some pretty good stuff there. We all need more friends like you!!!!

You know that saying, if there's a will, there's a way. You have that will, just taking the steps you've taken shows the faith you have that it will happen. When that insurance pulls through, or some other method of payment presents itself, you will be ready. Congrats on taking those steps--acknowledgement and awareness about your health. I have faith that God's timing will be just when you need it. Cynthia S.

Yes, I have to believe that right now is just not Gods timing or something would have worked out. I do know God is in control and all things will work for our good. It is helpful to have people remind me and agree with me. Sometimes just telling myself these things, isn't really enough! Thanks, Candy

Hi Candy! WELCOME! You are in good company here as you can already tell. All these wonderful brothers and sisters have been such an encouragement to me and I thank God for them everyday! They are prayer warriors and you can be assured that we will pray about your situation. I read your profile and you have such a beautiful mother's heart and I was so blessed by your sweet spirit. My heart goes out to you on this situtation with the surgery and I will be praying that God provides a way for you to have this surgery if it is His will. I will be praying that God meets you at your greatest need. I love you! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

That is the most beautiful thing you could have told me! Thank you! I really do desire a sweet spirit. Sometimes the trials of life threaten to drown it, you know? I want to live free and strong and proudly for the LORD. I feel like I am trapped in my body and house right now. I know God will not let me go, no matter what, and I will make it through this. Thank you so much for your kind words and for your prayers. What a blessing to have the prayers of people who can really relate to me and my situation. God Bless you! I will stay in touch! Candy

Hi Candy, joining others in saying welcome to the board. Fellow believers here and great support! Hope you will keep joining in here. Sounds like you are very well grounded in the truth but we we all need to vent from time to time and I think this is a safe place to do that.

Thank you Ginakay! The scale sure thinks I'm grounded, lol! No matter what happens around or in me sometimes, I do know Who my Redeemer is! He is my foundation for sure. I do have plenty of down days, but I am trying. Everyone has been so kind and encouraging. I will definitely be around! Thanks again, Candy Oh my husband would love your profile! He loves horses!

Hi Candy, I know how you're feeling. I've been there. Vent away, that is why we are all here, to support eachother. Please know you are not alone. You are in my prayers. Luv, Brenda
