Hi Everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Day and are looking forward to the Lord's return soon!!!! We are one year closer! PTL!!! Love, Cindy Today's Questions: 1. Besides continuing to loose weight, what goals do you have for 2006? 2. Other than your precious salvation, what is the greatest miracle in your life? 3. Did you ever dread a birthday? If so, which one? 4. If married or dating, how did you meet your spouse/date? 5. What year did you get your first computer? ************************************************* MY answers: 1. To study the Word more, not just read it. 2. In 1990&1991, God saved our marriage from divorce and made it better than ever before! Thank You, Jesus! 3. No. 4. We met in high school; he was a junior and I was a sophmore. He was my bestfriend's brother. We've been married 27 yrs next month! PTL! 5. 1997

Good morning Cindy and everyone! Cindy, I have been keeping an eye on your profile and it looks like you are doing great! I love your new pictures too. I can really tell a difference. I am also really looking forward to the Lord's return! The sooner the better! Even my 5 year old daughter has mentioned it a time or two lately. I told her we can all (our family) go to Heaven together when Jesus comes back. I hope everyone is having a Happy New Year. I know I am. It has been a wonderful Christmas and New Years....One of the best I've ever had. Ok...QOD (good questions by the way): 1. Honestly I really haven't given goals for the year much thought. Off the top of my head, I would like to spend more time with my kids just having fun and less time at work. 2. My family of course! I am so blessed to have them and so undeserving. 3. 29 freaked me out a little but I was over it very quickly. 4. I met my husband on a blind date set up by his friend and my mother. We've been married for 7 years. 5. 1992 It was so expensive...over $2000.00 which was quite a bit back then. And now that thing would be totally obsolete. Technology is amazing. Have a great day everyone! Love, Jacinda

Hello! I am new to this site. My answers are as follows.... 1. One of my goals for 06 is to pick one of the Gospels and study it. I pick Matthew. ( my favorite ) 2. My husband and my children are living proof of God's miracles. 3, My 40th was my dreaded. I do not know why, but getting older makes me uncomfortable. ???? 4. We met at work, he would come by my appartment on the way home from work in order to ask me a question that he forgot to ask me while we were at work. I had NO idea that I would end up marring him.... He now works elsewhere and I am still working for the same company. 19 years at the same place for me. AHHHHH I feel old! 5. I believe that it was around the year 1997 or so. God Bless! CMP

Hello, it's me again Kathy from MO, It has been awhile since I have been able to post to the board. I have been having problems with my computer and the cable modem from the cable company. I have noticed there are at least two Kathy's posting to the board so I guess I will always sign on as Kathy from MO. QOD: 1. My goals are: Spiritually--to spend more time in the Word and actually attend all sessions of the ladies bible study class, if possible. To remember to send notes of encouragement to the military families whose significant other is serving overseas. Financially--to continue to work towards becoming debt-free. Pay off my student loans and hopefully obtain employment. Physically--to increase my exercise time each day. Socially--to get a WLS support group started in my area. 2. My oldest daughter. I was told I was going to miscarry my baby but I didn't. She is now 21 years old. 3. I have never dreaded my birthdays. I have tried to ignore them though. LOL 4. I met my husband when we worked together in the preschool department at our church. He was sent down to help corral some of the more boisterous boys. 5. 2001. I wanted a computer at home since I was attending school full-time at the University of Missouri-Rolla. I hope everyone had a blessed New Years Day. Kathy from MO

Hi Kathy! How are you doing? How is Johnny doing? When does he come home? We received an email from him and we will be emailing him again. Bless both of you once again for the sacrifices you are making for our country. I love you! God Bless, Lynda Phil. 4:8

Hi, Lynda! How was your holiday season? I trust you had a blessed time with your family. John is doing well. He is currently changing locations so I am praying he arrives safely at his new location in Iraq. He should be home sometime in the next 4-6 months. We are on the downhill side now. I can hardly believe it when I look at how much time has passed since he left last January. May you have a blessed, prosperous and healthy New Year. Love, Kathy from MO

Kathy from MO! Hello and welcome to this forum, it's great! It cought my eye that your husband is in Iraq. My husband was in the Navy for 25 yrs, and I understand what it is like to have a husband gone in a war. I will pray for his safe return, and a glorious reunion!! Sometimes those first weeks are hard, but I just know yours will be great. My SS class prays earnestly for all in Iraq, and around the world in the military. Let me tell you, God listens to the prayers of those kids!! I will add his name to our list, if it's ok with you. Will look forward to getting to know you on this spot. Congratulations on your wt loss. I am just 14 days away now from my RNY. Sure am busy trying to get everything done before I am admitted. Have a wonderful day!! By the way, I will be listing some of my clothes on the clothing exchange, and hope it will be of help to us all. I do a lot of shopping at the thrift stores, and have gotten some of the most beautiful, tailor-made clothing that I look forward to getting into. It really pays to be a regular customer to catch those prizes! Love, Kathy B in Idaho!!

Hi Kathy B So you are from Idaho. I have another WLS friend named Loriann who lives in Idaho, as well. I would be honored to have you include my husband and our family on your prayer list in Sunday School. John should be home in the next 4-6 months. He left on January 28, 2005. I will be so glad when he returns but I have really enjoyed the regular consistent paychecks. I will be praying for you as you prepare for your WLS surgery. I will check out the clothing exchange and list some clothes I have there as well. Your picture is beautiful. I need to stop procrastinating and add my picture to my profile. Thanks for the e-mail. I look forward to corresponding with you on this message board. Love, Kathy from MO
