Hi Lisa
Let me be the first to say "Welcome"!! I am so glad you found us. You are right, this is the place you NEED to be. We are some God loving folk...lol. I have lurked over several forums and found this one to be my home. In the short time that I have been here I have grown to love each and every person. We are truly brothers and sisters in the Lord and it shows through our love and support for one another. You can trust that everyone here will diligently lift you up in prayer from now until you are home and on the loosing side.
Love,
Dawn
Hi Lisa and welcome. Stress is a though one for all of us. Don't be afraid to confess your fears here. We've been there and know what for feel. Take some comfort in knowing that we'll be praying for you. The prayer warriors in this bunch are awesome. And just surrender yourself to the Lord. Just turn it over to Him. He knows what's *******ways thought that the stress was a way God could test my faith and trust in Him. It may sound silly to some of you but if we stress (which we all do) it will build our faith when we realize we had nothing to worry about. Try to realize that He has it all planned out. And this will bring glory to Him in one way or another. Be still and know..................
peace,
Glenn
PS-tell us what time your surgery is so we can be praying while your in surgery.
Hi Lisa. I'm so glad that God led you to this board. We are praying for you right now that the Lord will calm your fears and give you peace in Him. You can rest assured that He will see you through this, Lisa. He loves you and wants the best for you. We love you too as a fellow sister in Christ. Do keep us posted, and we will continue to lift you up in prayer.
In Him,
Peg

I had my surgery 2 1/2 months ago and it has been a miracle in my life! The unknown is very stressful and I will certainly be praying for God to relief that stress and give you peace. Please keep posting and let us know how things are going. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! Love ya!

Phil. 4:8
Hi Lisa! Welcome to the family. I, too am fairly new, and have found great encouragement. We will keep you in prayer on Wed. Do you have someone who can let us know how you are? Hebrews 12;5 says " I will never leave you nor forsake you". Isn't it great that we can KNOW this is true?? God bless you, Lisa, and rest in Him Kathy
Welcome Lisa,
I too am pretty new here. It toatlly hit home when you said "I am really, REALLY stressing out and praying alot for relief of that stress" I have been so fervently praying about the surgery and the outcome that I did not address the stress and it is totally consuming me. I am feeling physically ill and it's not cool.
It is stressing me even more becasue it makes me feel that if I don't get this under control I can not have the surgery in 11 days so keep me in your thoughts and prayers please.

Hi Lisa,
Welcome to the Christianity forum. You've found the right place to be. The Lord will bring comfort and peace to your spirit if you will accept it. He loves you and will take care of you. Lisa you are in my prayers right now. Father I ask that you would wrap your loving arms around Lisa and give her the comfort that she needs right now Lord. Lisa is frightened about her surgery on Wednesday. She needs your assurance and love. Father I pray that Lisa would accept all the good you have to give to her, that she would accept your gift of love and comfort. Lord let a peace and love envelope Lisa. Father I ask that she would feel the stress leave her at this moment and that it would not return to her. Lord I pray that you would guide the hands of Lisa's surgeon as he performs this procedure on her body this Wednesday. Lord I ask that you be with each member of her surgical team, that they would complete this task that you have laid before them, with ease. Father may you cause this to be a perfect procedure with no complications, completed in a timely manor. Father I ask that you would grant Lisa a quick painless recovery. Lord Let Lisa use this procedure to bring glory to your name. May she serve you the way you intended for her to serve you. We thank you for your love, your grace, and your forgiveness father. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
God bless you,
Annette
Hi Dawn, Glenn, Peg, Lynda, Kathy, Kristie, Annette L., and Annette M!!!
Thanks so much for your comforting words and welcoming greetings!
Unfortunately at this time I do not have internet access at home, so that's why it has taken me so long to get back to you all.
God is soooooooooooooo awesome isn't He!!!!!!!!
I am so thankful to Him for bringing me to this forum and for touching all of your lives so you can touch others like me!!
Believe it or not, I have had a great sense of peace overcome me in the last couple of days and I wouldn't put it past the fact that you all were praying for me, as well as my spiritual family in my church!!!
I was in my bible last night and Isaiah 41:13 touched my heart and I think it is great comfort for us all!
Dawn, Kathy, and Kristie, I will do my best to be online here at the library right before you guys go in for surgery, but just know that you will be in my prayers and I KNOW God will surround you with His love and comfort and give you the strength and endurance to get through the recovery time!
