Hello everyone, I havent been in here for quite a while. A lot has transpired since being homeless right after surgery, but Praise God...He has provided for me every step of the way! I am now at 1 year and one month PO and my last visit to the Dr. after extracting .5 from my band (2 visits ago) showed my gaining a couple of lbs! I have begun exercising at the Y and have lost inches but am pretty discouraged at the stalled weight loss! I am open to suggestions for this New Year to get back on track. I have found my band is very touchy and will accept a food one day and not accept any solid the next! I have been cheating some but not eating excessively. Greer

Hi Greer, glad to hear the Lord is providing for you. I have found that to be true in my own life as well. PTL. I am still fairly new post op so I don't think I have any words of wisdom except what I hear some of the others say here for getting out of a weight loss stall.... back to basics!

Hey Greer. Good to see you posting buddy. Been a while since I've heard from you. I'll keep you in my prayers. Just remember water water water and protein protein protein. God bless you my friend! Randall

Hello Greer, I am only 4 months post op. I did not have a lap band procedure but I still experience the same problem--my new pouch will accept food one day and reject it the next. When that happens I just go back to my soft or liquid diet and start fresh for a day or two. I agree with Randall--- you need to get protein protein protein and water water water. I pray for your success. Kathy from MO
