***WEDNESDAY ROLL CALL***

Good evening! It's 9:20PM. Oh well better late than never. QOD: 1) My favorite Christmas gift this year was an MP3 plaer/FM radio that my husband and son gave me. I really love it because I can listen to my praise & worship music all day long and anywhere I go. It's the best gift I've gotten in years. 2)Since I'm still pre-op, I ate whatever I wanted but I have learned to stop when I get that full feeling. Then I don't spend the rest of the evening feeling all bloated like a beached whale. 3)Fresh cooked greens, my home-made chili and chinese food.

Hi Lynda! Thanks for your prayers. My 'ulcers' don't bother me a bit. But I still need to finish taking the prilosec for three months. BTW--thank you for the beautiful Christmas card. Agape, Cara B.

Well, what I wanted for Christmas was for my husband NOT to go overseas, and on our way to Atlanta for Christmas, (he had Christmas leave), they called him to go fly to Iraq. Thanks Air Force!!! I had to really go before the Lord and ask not to be bitter. It was hard, and I did not do very well. 1. Favorite Gift...hmmm, my dear sweet son gave me a $25 gas card to BP, he is 18 and works part time at Subways, so that was a very thoughtful, and sweet sacrifice, made me cry. 2. Eating....It went well. I am 4 mos. post op, and I made SF choc. chip cookies from Splenda, and used the Splenda brown sugar instead of real brown sugar. I ate about 5 or 6 in 7 days total, so not too bad. 3. Favorite foods now....GRAPES, RED ONES!! Yummy, and they keep me regular. I also love chili, and peanuts (mixed nuts lightly salted). I also love but haven't found them in the grocery store lately, "Skinny Bears" the SF Slim-a-Bears by Klondike!! Thanks! Great Questions! Congrats on the grandbaby!! Deborah

I am late on the upswing tongiht. I have been so busy. Everyone sounds like they had an awesome Christmas. QOTD 1.My favorite gift was a hand blown glass necklace from my niece. (My family is so big we draw names for gifts) It was so lovely. 2. This week I have been ok. I am not trying too hard because I know that soon I will be on my 3 day clear liquids and then surgery. So I am trying to fit in all the things in now that I may not be able to have again. 3. My favorite food right now is Chinese food. I am really going to miss that. I have a hugew sweet tooth as well. The Lord will decide what to do with that issue. Agape' Kristie
