My date is January 24th!!!!

I am so excited to announce my surgery date is January 24th!!!! I hovered over my phone all day. Today is my birthday, I am 49 and I can't wait to see my 50th birthday. Just think how great I will look after I shed this outer layer. I am excited to start the next decade with a new body! Thank you for all your prayers. Dawn, I didn't make it to the bank today. That will be my priority tomorrow. Sorry, I was a little crazy waiting for that call! I am excited that you and I will be going down this path together. I am beliving that God will bless our journey's with His presence, His Healing, and His favor. I have a plaque in my kitchen "God has a purpose for you that is held in His heart. God has a path for you that is paved with His grace". That just fills my heart everytime I read it. I know that is true. He has not forgotten or forsaken us. His plan is perfect. What wonderful news!!! I was the same way last week waiting for mine to ring, it finally did on Thurs. and I got my date ont he 10th of Jan, so we are gonna be on the losers bench together!!! J Marie, Congrats!! What a wonderful birthday present. I am so happy for you, I know that this has been a long road so far but the finish line is in site. Praise God! I like that saying. I just can't say it enough; if we just have faith and trust that God's word is truth, amazing things will happen. I have had so many things crumble in my life lately, but I continue to look to where my help comes from. I found that if I dwell on the valleys in my life I will never see the blessings. And how can I expect God to bless me if I don't believe He can? He's not going to prove me wrong. I know He wants to bless us; we just have to be standing strong and looking up, trusting that He will do what He said He would do. Love, Dawn

Happy Birthday! What a wonderful birthday present you received. I will be turning 45 next May and I can hardly wait to see how much weight I will have lost by then I am hoping I will be close to my goal weight since my husband will be returning within that time frame from Iraq. My brother's birthday is Jan. 24th. So I will definitely remember to pray for you while I am thinking about him. Congratulations my sister.
