fasting and prayer???

Hi Letty, Our church is going to do a 21 day fast in January for our upcoming new year. Our preacher has been talking about different ways of fasting. I have tried to fast, but I was only able to make it until around noon. I was only drinking my protein shake & water. But I became physically sick,(n&v) I am praying about what I am going to fast from in Jan. I think if it a sacrifice that God will honor the fast. May God bless you all who are doing this.
